Customers commend the Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop for its remarkable performance, smooth speed, and crystal-clear graphics, making it a great value for the price. The lit keyboard and ease of use are also appreciated, along with its aesthetically pleasing, lightweight design. However, some customers have noted concerns about the battery life, potential fan noise, and limited storage. While the laptop handles heat well, these are areas to consider.

I got this laptop on sale which was perfect timing as I needed a new laptop and this works perfect for what I needed it for. It’s a great entry level gaming laptop and I also use it for work. I did just upgrade the ram and added another 8 gb stick to it which was super easy. I recommend this for sure.

I purchased this laptop in 2023 for black friday, at a price point of around $400. For the price, I think getting a dedicated 2050 GPU, and 1080p panel with a large trackpad is a pretty good deal. Backlit keyboard is good, keys feel good and one year in I still have it in superb condition. The only thing I wish was different would be type C charging as an option like most other HP laptops nowadays, but it is what it is. The laptop dies if not used within a month - constantly draining battery when powered off, even with the offline USB charging off in the BIOS. I still think 5 stars for the product though.

Got on sale for $480. Solid laptop at that price, definitely needed RAM upgrade. With extra 32g of RAM runs as well as my $1500 custom built pc. Graphics card is all you need for most games so don’t worry about getting a higher end one.
Main complaints are: Speakers are very quiet on max volume. Also lots of bloat ware and hate the way windows 11 required an email to set up the pc.
Over all: The battery has a decent life 4-5 hours regular use way bette than my old one. I can use it for studying, coding, streaming, and playing higher demanding games. Doesn’t get too hot, and fans aren’t super loud. Over all I’m satisfied and would buy again if I went back in time and had the same sale price, but I definitely would not buy it at the full price.

Purchased this laptop for my daughter. She wanted a gaming laptop, but really would not be playing alot of games. This laptop is perfect for her. Got it on sale for $520.
Like the fact it is DDR5 and come with a 2050 graphic card. I installed 2 x 8GB DDR5 - 4800 Crucial Ram and she noticed that her laptop does runs faster. It only has 1 ssd slot.
I did notice that the charging port is a little flimsy to me. It is a small pin adaptor that has in 150w. Since it is a gaming laptop, it will not be able to charge by it one usb-c port on its right side.

4 stars because FedEx lost my first package and BestBuy nor FedEx didn’t notify me, got it 3 weeks after i bought it online, but that’s irrelevant. The laptop works reallly great for gaming and schoool. I play Genshin Impact, Pubg, Dota 2, Valorant, CS2, and about to try warzone. Cpu temp when gaming is 80-85 when playing pubg. It runs it at 60-70fps in medium settings, and yes the fan does get loud, but not with lighter graphic games. In Google chrome I noticed that the screen flickers randomly and I don’t know why. The touchpad get stuck sometimes like its just pressed and doesn’t click and you have to hit the laptop lightly to get it to start working again (happened only 2 times after 1 and 1/2 weeks. Really good laptop for the price. (Bought this at $479.99 sale)

I use it mainly for gaming and sometimes streaming works so much better than my old MacBook Air I used to have in my opinion. The mousepad is a little sticky but for the price of this laptop in comparison to others, it’s great.

A perfect and stylish laptop. I played CS2, RDR2, GTA V, World of Tanks, War Thunder and Project CW on it and the performance is astonishing. For such a price it is a must-but, I got it with a discount and I am very happy about that. I am getting more than 60FPS in every game. The 144hz screen is must-have and it makes the gaming experience very smooth. It has also been my first time experiencing Windows 11 and its UI looks pretty cool, very MacOs-ish. The fans are not too loud, keyboard brightness is not adjustable it’s only on/off. Trackpad is OK, but I immediately started using it with a mouse, since I only use trackpads on Apple devices. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and you should consider getting this laptop for yourself. All the best!

My “best buy” to date

Works better than I expected, needed something with a nice graphics card and upgradable ram for adobe creative cloud. It hands the programs flawlessly while also having stuff open in the background (Spotify and a few chrome tabs). I haven’t done any serious gaming on it due to time constraints but it can adequately run any roblox game at max graphics settings- granted its plugged in. I noticed this with my infinitely inferior vivobook 15, but both laptops tend to run smoother on certain things when on the charger. Also for those who care, the speakers are subpar with very little noticeable bass. High highs and no lows. The laptop exceeds my expectations for what I bought it for, I’d say it was worth the $560.

Great Lowend Upgradable Budget Gaming Laptop

I bought this laptop on sale. I've had it for a month and I love it. If this is going to be your first laptop, it's a great budget purchase. Only buy it if you plan to upgrade it. The base model isn't worth it. The best part is the upgradablility, and the parts are easy to take apart and replace (all you need is a small screwdriver). Once upgraded (what it needs most is a RAM upgrade [I did 32 gb ddr5 RAM]), games play well and you can play most modern games. If you're looking for something higher grade, this won't be for you.

Great purchase! The battery life has been decent. I get a good charge worth a few days. I just downloaded a video game and still have plenty of memory. The graphics are great as well. The omen hub keeps my computer clutter free. I mostly use my computer for work (emails, spreadsheets, etc.). I purchased a keyboard cover for it. The keys are actually black, not light blue as in the picture. I have been a loyal HP customer for a long time and still have no complaints!

It’s a good starter laptop for gaming, which is what I bought it for. I was expecting it to handle running some games a little better, as it starts to slow and I have to change my frame rate and the fans are running insanely loud. I had to buy a cooling pad in the end. Of note, the only game it’s struggled with is Baldur’s gate 3, and that could just be due to the size and nature of the game. Overall, solid purchase and I hope it lasts me a long time

Have had it for about 2 weeks now & its been amazing so far don’t have any issues with games. Most if not all games run smooth at high settings, only downsides is the lack of ram & storage but is easily upgraded down the line if need be. But overall, its amazing for someone starting to get into the pc gaming world but also is still light and portable for other functions! Would recommend for anyone
