I ordered a laptop for my daughter's birthday, the laptop was lost in oops. I called Best Buy support for 4 days, trying to find out something. In the end, on the 12th day from the order, the girl helped me and sent it again. The laptop is not bad, it gets very hot under the left hand, but I consider it the best option for the money.

My son loves this machine. It only took a couple of minutes to get it up and running. Had his games going before the computer had even fully charged.

Fairly quiet when compared to my previous gaming laptops. Hinge seems solid which had been a problem with other laptops. Feels high end for what the price paid.

Got it on sale for 899, easy access to RAM and M.2 drive for a seamless upgrade. definitely worth it!

The backlight died 5 months after purchase, the laptop itself works great though.

Its a pretty okay machine. I had some issues when i tried uninstalling some of the bloatware so i had to factory reset it a few times and there is no additional expansion for an ssd but it gets work done and has a pretty great load time for common browsing and watching videos. Video games feel a little slow depending on your desk but it is worth it if its in sale

Such a Great deal for the quality of gaming laptop

So far most everything about this laptop is as I expected it would be and it has been functioning as I desire and admirably. The issue I have run into came when I attempted to open up the laptop to replace the 512 gb SSD with a 2 TB that I had purchased. The screws in this laptop have been screwed in so tightly and firmly that getting them out was an exercise and frustration just to get access to the internals of a laptop. There, I found that the screws in the SSD drive itself are wedged in so firmly that I've been completely unable to remove them with a iFixit screwdriver kit and I'm trying to find alternative ways to remove screws at this point. What should have been just a 5-minute pop the bottom off to switch drives is so far turned into a 30 minute exercise and trying to look up videos and ways to remove stubborn screws to so frustrating that I felt I needed to leave a review mentioning how absurdly tight and immovable these screws have been. If you aren't going to open it up and don't want to swap out any of the RAM or the SSD, the laptop is fine and passable especially when connected to a different display. If you want to do your own tinkering, this is not the one.

Thing heats up easily. Bottom hit vent gathers up dusts quickly.
