    Iffy

I loved this computer when I first purchased it, six months ago. Now I have mixed emotions. It's incredibly difficult to turn the computer on. I have to hold the power button down anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes. The balance is horrible. I understand that it's a 2 in 1 but all the weight lays in the screen. Unless the laptop is mostly closed it's hard to leave it standing alone on even a hard surface. The Internet connections have to be amazing in order for the browsers to run smoothly. The only reason I give this laptop three stars is because it does meet my needs. I primarily use Microsoft, chrome for research, and Netflix.

This is the worst computer I have ever had.

I am a college student. The only thing i use my computer for is netflix (which comes already downloaded on the computer), research, and Microsoft Office programs. This computer has had problems since I got it. Number one, it is slow and unless it has an amazing Internet connection you can forget about anything on Netflix or any video buffering. On top of that, despite having an Antivirus protection plan on the computer it is completely ruined with viruses that somehow could not be fixed. I sent it to have it fixed and it came back exactly the same, and now my apps are all refusing to open. I cannot go through the rest of college with this computer it is horrible

    No LTE with WIN 10

On the phone with HP for over 3hrs when you update to win 10 everything works fine after except the 4G LTE module. There's no driver for it for win 10 and HP said there probably won't be since in there new models the LTE is part of the wifi card. I can make it work if I go back to win 8 but why win 8 sucks! I just use hot spot off my phone.

    Overpriced Tablet with Keyboard

Under powered, Overpriced, Tablet with a keyboard. What a terrible product. It is slow, doesn't turn on half of the time, and I can't drive back to the store fast enough to return it. I am aggravated that I spend a good couple hours configuring, installing software, putting my data too it and now it basically a paper weight. HP's fix is to do a system restore, which will wipe out hours of work, not to mention that I cannot turn it on. The best buy employee sold me that this was laptop. This is not a laptop. I was foolish. 1 star is too high of a review.

    Declines Quickly

The computer worked great for the first month, then after that the battery will no longer charge completely, the computer only turns on sometimes , and is constantly updating. You have to restart the computer in order for it to go from laptop to tablet and vice versa. I have been impressed with my previous HP products , but they dropped the ball on this one.

This computer has given me problems since the day I took it out of the box. I thought it would get better once I set it all up, however, it is absolutely terrible. It is slow, I have to turn it on twice because it freezes the first time it comes on. . . it's terrible. Do not buy!

I honestly do like this laptop, as mentioned in another review there are a couple of problems with it. 1. The keypad does goes stuck, but I don't have to lift mine up, I just kind of bang on it a little with my finger. 2. I wish there was a stencil that came with this :| The camera is pretty decent as well, I Skype a lot and it's great for that.

    Hp Pavilion dx100

After three months of owning this computer, a message appeared stating that there was a problem with the hard drive and a key component was not installed during the manufacturing process. Shorty after the message appeared my computer began to crash sporadically. If I could I would rate this computer and the company with zero stars, because the customer service was terrible. Hp took back the computer to fix it but they never followed up with me or sent me any notifications of the status of my computer repair. After two weeks of silence from the company I called and they informed me that they did not have a part to fix my computer and that they did not know when it was going to be fixed. After hearing this news I sent in a request for a new computer and they never followed up with me on the problem.

The base stopped working 12.5 months into it, of course it was past the manufacturer warranty. this was second time I had to take it back. The USB's and track pad just stopped working and they wanted to charge me $200+ to fix. I just bought another computer

Mediocre technology that is designed to fail

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Before purchasing this laptop I wish I had looked on HP's support page. Its a vicious list of rants about the failing touch-pad, and poor connection between the tablet and base of this device. After about a year of working perfectly fine (the amount of time that the device is covered by warranty), several aspects of the hardware will begin to fail, while the laptop works fine most of the time, never close the screen or you will risk damaging the connection. Do not buy this product, wait for the technology to get better.

Never buy this computer. It has consistently had issues throughout the time I've owned it and finally broke on me after a year and a half of use. Best Buy REFUSES to give me a refund. Never shopping here or with HP ever again.
