Easy set up and connections, the sound is alright, it does what I bought it for

This surround sound is very good quality, great sound and easy to hook up

Works Great with new TV! The newer tv's have Great picture Quality But very poor sound. This feels like a movie theater experience !

I had first bought a sound bar and wasn't happy with it at all so I went and exchanged it for this.. Good sound for the money... I did have a little trouble hooking up to my components as the instruction book wasn't compatible with my equipment..

NEEDED A SOUND SYSTEM TO REPLACE A BOSE 321 SYSTEM. WORKS WELL BUT MISS THE DVD / CD PLAYER

We wanted simple with everything included! Easy to set up sounds great! And it came with everything needed!

Works great. Sounds great . Im no expert, but we are satisfied with this product. Especially for the price.

Onkyo is some of the best equipment around. Adding this system to my bedroom was a perfect fit.

Having previously owned an Onkyo surround sound unit in the past, I decided to purchase the Onkyo - HT 5.1-Ch. 4K Home Theater System - Black. I took it home and wired everything. I think I watched about 6 movies in total when the receiver started acting up. The only speakers I was getting sound from was the center and right. I powered it down and on again and for a minute or so it worked fine. All the speakers and subwoofer worked for like a minute. And the same thing happened again. The speakers are rattling and subwoofer as well. This is not a reliable system I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

A year later it is still going strong. 4K pass through with HDR support.

Sound cuts at if its to high. So if the volume is around 45-50 it will cut out and i will have to push the power button 3 sec later it will come back on so if you like to jam with loud music dont buy thus one keeps cutting out.

I expected a more enveloping sound and with more power for the brand, it fulfills its function but it is not a thing of the other world, I think that for my next purchase I will invest more money to acquire a better sound

Great price. But not sure I would buy again. I’m having some issues with it 6 months after purchase. I’m not sure if it’s my hdmi cord or the receiver but it seems to black out every once in a while.

it was a great difficulty in connecting the receiver with TV using HDMI cable. Still not connected. using optical cable for connection which is having average output. Best Buy team helped a bit but nor very useful.

I had no trouble setting up the unit. The HDMI connections made it very easy.
