Top of the line 2015 phone, slightly bigger than whats initially comfortable

I bought this phone from the google store instead of best buy (which I only regret since I could have gotten a $25 gift card). But when I found out about the offer through best buy, I order a second (32 GB model) for my wife. My previous phone was last years Nexus 6 and that was and still is a very good phone (you cant go wrong with a nexus). However, this year's model is definitely a good improvement over last years. First, the camera quality is significantly improve. The screen is a bit smaller than the nexus 6, but it also makes the phone much more manageable (for one handed operation). The battery life is also significantly improved. I got over 24 hrs with at least 4 hrs of screen time. One of the biggest cons of this device is the USB type-C connector. While this will be the trend in the future ,it's currently an inconvenience. For one, almost all micro USB cables are useless without an adapter. I recommend buying at least 1 adapter and keep it with you at all times in case you need to rely on charging your phone with a micro USB, at least until USB type-C starts becoming more commonly used and it's widely available. Another difference between this and previous nexus phones is lack of wireless charging. It's not a huge drawback since the main reason I cared about wireless charging is to protect the weak micro USB port. With the USB type C connector. the connector feels a lot more sturdy and less of a concern of it being damaged. It's also fairly easy to plug it in even in complete darkness, partially due to the fact that the connector is reversible. My last concern is that this phone isn't water resistant like the Nexus 6. While I have never dropped my phone in water, I do like the peace of mind that my phone will be fine even if I do especially because these newer phones, the battery cannot be removed. Even with all the drawbacks I mentioned, I would still recommend this phone, since at least in my case, they arent a major issue. Plus, I much liked that Google made the price of the phone much more affordable than last years model ($500 at launch for the 32 GB model versus $650 for the 32 GB model last year). Now that the Matte Gold Nexus 6P is $450 for the 32 GB version, and $500 for the 64 GB version, it's definitely worth picking up

This phone is great. I got this phone for my wife, who does not like to mess around with any tech. Because you cannot open the phone up to add memory or change out a battery, life is nice and simple with this phone. She had upgraded to this phone from a Samsung Galaxy S3 and this is WAY better than that phone. No contest. Fast processor, great resolution, very responsive.

It's been a month since i am using this phone and so far no complaints. only issue i had is even after updating the phone with latest system update downloaded it was keep saying that update is available so called android support center and they solved the issue over phone. Did read couple of negative review before buying this phone but so far nothing like that happened with me. I liked the looks of the phone.

I have always trusted Google. My previous one was a Nexus 5. So I upgraded to the Nexus 6. At first, I was quite apprehensive because it is made by Huawei. After a week, I love it. Solidly made, like the rapid charger and the screen. The only thing that I have to adjust to is the USB-TypeC interface. But again, we all have to move on with technology.

This one is excellent works flawless very fast. Best in all categories. I had bought 2, for my wife and self. Both are happy. I am putting this comment after around 30 days of use. As they claim pictures even in low light are pretty good, better than others. Samsung edge seems only competitor, that too will loose if they make it water resistant.

The Nexus 6P was the best android before Pixel. I am really a fan of Nexus and I am really sad that nexus line has ended to replace Pixel. Pixel is a great phone but a little expensive than we expected from Nexus line. I am waiting for PIXEL to come down in price so that I can buy it. Best buy is great for buying any phone online.

I bought Nexus 6P in Aug 2016 (new from BestBuy). It died on me in May 2017. With no warning it shut down on its own right in my hands and wouldn't turn back on. Google logo was flashing on and off without moving any further. I'm a very carefull user. It still looks like new. Didnt drop it, root it or instal any unauthorised apps. Only basics from googl play store. I'm lucky it's still under warranty. I called Huawei and was instructed to mail it to them for repair. They dont guarantee that you will get your device back it might be a refurbished one. Good luck to me! Who knowns what comes back... (I havent sent it yet) Turns out this is a widespread google phones issue. There are a lot of unhappy ppl out there who lost their data and/or money cause this happened to them after warranty expiration date or abroad. If not for the bootloop issue, it's a nice phone. Camera is so so.

This phone is easily one of the best of the 2015-2016 "season". After having to return my original phone because of charging issues (it was part of the first batch of buggy phones), my current phone works great. While I do believe others are reporting a better battery life than I'm getting I generally have no complaints. Stock android is great and having the latest updates monthly is clutch.

I bought this phone after carefully reading reviews everywhere online. I am not disappointed. I have had the phone for a month, and I actually really like the case they gave with it for free... I thought I would replace it with something else, but it is really nice!

My husband bought this phone as soon as it was released, and when my LG G4 kicked the bucket 6 months after I purchased it, I decided to give the 6P a try since my husband always seems to make great choices when it comes to phones. I haven't been disappointed!
