I preordered the 6p so I've had the phone for some time now. Honestly say best phone I have ever owned. Couple of my favorite things, camera is amazing my wife asks for my 6p for pictures "she has an iPhone 6". Love the quick charging, pure Android is fantastic have had two updates from Google so far, no waiting on the carriers. Fingerprint sensors is wicked fast, and the phone is downright good looking.

It’s a great phone, but it doesn’t hold a charge and it shuts off at 40% battery life. This is a known issue with this phone.

Not much really needs to be said, it's truly the Android equal to the iPhone. If you want something with great bang for the buck, premium build, great camera/battery/speakers and (in my opinion, most importantly) a great user experience, this is a wonderful device. It's not perfect, as no phone is, but it belongs to an elite group of smartphones that almost anyone can use and be very happy.

I was worried about getting the Nexus because you here that it's the phone you get if you like to put on a custom OS. Or generally like to "tinker" with how your phone works. That might sound strange since I work in IT but I specialize in Microsoft AD, Exchange and networking. I know really, next to nothing about Android OS. Well, let me just say, as far as construction, user interface and performance, it is, by far, the best phone I've ever used! I have to go (wife is ready to go) but I just have to say how Amazing the camera is. I thought the LG G3 had a great camera (it is) but the Nexus camera is in a whole other league. If the camera is important to you, this is YOUR phone! If you care, this phone is beautiful (I have the aluminum model). I take public transportation to work every day and I get comments all the time; mostly, "wow, what phone is that?!". This did stop when I put the 'Speck' case on it (FYI: I got the white one and it is perfect. With the added grip I can now easily text one handed). Gotta' go! (...off to see Star Wars at the Franklin Institute!). I highly recommend the Nexus 6P. (P.S. No junk/bloatware!!)

I have been a nexus device user for the past 2 years. I moved from a Nexus 5 to a Nexus 6p and had the device for 2-3 months. And do I love it. The build quality is great. The slight rubberized plastic lip in the front around the display protects the display from any random falls. The phone is fast, camera is impressive, and the screen is gorgeous. Even the battery life is decent. And Huawei did a great job providing all the necessary dongles. Oh, that fingerprint reader is lightning fast, and location is perfect. Oh, the speakers are, I think, the best in the industry for phones. And you cannot beat the price for a proper branded phone with a lot of support. Yes, there are cheaper phones, like the Oneplus, but they have their niggling issues, and aren't directly supported by google. Now, for the pet peeves. I feel like the top and bottom lip of the phone can be shorter. Yes, the phone has front facing speakers, but there is still some dead space. The screen could also be slightly brighter when used in the sun. It is usable, but I have seen brighter screens out there. Also, I wonder if google can make the HDR+ mode faster. The performance has definitely improved from the updates, since I purchased the phone, but there's still much to be done. But other than these, I think it is a great phone, and you'll truly enjoy the pure google experience on this phone. Oh, one last thing, keep an eye on the prices. They tend to have sales sporadically. I got mine at one of those times.

Call quality bad. Other person can not hear clearly. Speaker volume is too low.

I had a chance to use many smartphones this year and this is the best all around smartphone. It has one of the best Cameras, especially in low light, the best speakers, one of the best displays, excellent build quality and the best software experience (latest stock android). No other phone is the best or one of the bests in every category like this phone is.

if you cell expensive phones please sell protective cases for them. my phone is been broken from the 3 day i bought it i try to find a case everywhere and wasn't able to find it. also i do not like the cell phone, i can't download pictures from it. junk i wish i would get my money back

After unboxing ive tried to start it but nothing happened. So i thought i should charge it first. But after try charging it with the wall adapter or the usb connected to a pc,nothing happened either. The screen doesnt do anything and the phone doesnt start. Im getting nervous...

I purchased this phone in Feb'16 and since then facing issue with mic. The opposite party cant hear me and I have to connect ear plug while talking. Efforts to reach Google, Huwei and Bestbuy did not yield any result. I feel cheated by these companies.

This a best android smartphone i have had . I had Samsung phones before and tried of the touchwiz , not getting updates etc... I preordered Nexus 6P on the same day it was released and have this since Nov 1st week . I also had this for my Europe Trip and took fantastic pictures. If you are looking for good android phone then go for it.

In the past, the criticism of owning a Nexus smartphone isn't because of the stock Android experience, or fast updates, or the ease of customizing it. It was some essentials such as battery life, camera, build quality and the like. I'm happy to report that the Nexus 6P is the most complete flagship phone out there yet. It's the first in the series that's got a metal body, a proper camera (finally), a really good battery, spectacular AMOLED display, front-facing speakers, a design that is distinct...I mean, have you seen the black bar across the top, and the Nexus logo? Yes, the phone is phablet-sized, but thanks to its thinness, I was able to adjust fairly quickly (I previously owned a Nexus 5, a near-5 inch phone). Of course, you'll also have the latest OS from Google, regular updates for at least two years, and security updates for around 3 years. If you want a powerhouse of a phone, you should seriously consider the Nexus 6P.

This phone is a beast, the best android phone currently out on the market. It's lighting fast, has a premium look and best of all it's stock android. With stock android you'll get faster updates as well. Samsung, LG, Sony can't compete with this bad boy. Oh and you can't beat the price either.

My wife and I just switched over from iPhone 5 and couldn't be happier, we have unlimited data so we have to buy our phones outright. Wd wanted something affordable so we got 2 nexus 6ps.Super smooth, great camera and beautiful screen

Best Nexus phone to date. Very well made phone. Display is great. Even though phone is big, it fits comfortably in hands. Get a clear case so you can be reminded of how good looking the phone is and reminded that your Nexus is not an iPhone.

I had an iPhone for 4 years and decided to try out Android and got this phone. This is seriously an amazing phone. Great performance, great camera, all day battery life, best screen resolution I have ever seen on a phone, and dual stereo front speakers. The fingerprint reader is almost instant and works every time. Very glad I got this phone!

This is an awesome to carry in your hand. It has everything one should be looking for in a Phone. I had Nexus 5 previously and am upgraded to Nexus 6P.I had issue with Nexus 5 camera, it was so slow that I almost always missed the perfect timimg to click a photo. And I had made my mind to go for iPhone 6s plus, but thought of going through features of Nexus 6p. And believe me those features are not good only in papers but they are actually making this phone awesome.I am very happy with Nexus 6p. On the top of that I got 25$ gift card from best buy.You wont get anything if you order it from anywhere else including google play.

First Nexus phone, but I have had other Android phones and an iPhone. It is a workhourse with great battery life. No complaints except it doesn't have double tap to wake (came from a G3).

This is probably the best android flagship level phone out right now with one glaring major issue. Since android 6.0.1 update, the phone will not stay connected to AT&T LTE network. It spends most of its time on HSPA+ even in a strong signal area. I don't know if its a software issue or a hardware issue, but fact is this problem is known to Google and presumably Huawei since December but it has not been fixed yet. Thats the reason for the 3 stars. The phone has failed in its primary intended function. Please google "Nexus 6P not connecting to LTE" to see how widespread the issue is. There has been a report opened in the android issues website since December. Buyer Beware: If you are ok living with HSPA+ speeds but the price of an LTE phone ..this one is your best choice. I will update this review if and when Google/Huawei fix the LTE connectivity issues.

I purchased the Huawei - Nexus 6P 4G with 64GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Aluminum for myself for Christmas 2015. I have been extremely pleased with the very sturdy feeling aluminum body and the FAST fingerprint scanner. The phone has a very large battery and with Android M on board, and its Doze feature, it makes my phone go well over a full day before it has to be charged. This phone has a nearly 6 inch Samsung Amoled Ultra HD screen that I really enjoy watching youtube and Netflix on. The phone is sturdy, fast, energy efficient, and you will not have to wait on android updates as you will get them directly from Google. I am thinking I may be a Nexus guy now.
