First I'll say, it is a great phone, nice camera, looks great, feels great. Responds well most the time. The battery life all depends on the built in super aggressive battery manager, out of the box you wont get notifications for most apps, the time out is set to like 5 seconds things like that. Once you set the manager to something different, it sucks the juice when doing anything but watching movies and listening to music. Playing games drains it so bad I have 3 or 4 times a day. Also get very hot when playing and charging at the same time. Graphics wise, the phones a champ, playing some pretty good looking games without much stutter or lag. It's games where you have a ton of items on the screen at once is where it starts to have a hard time. My ZTE quartz handles games like Simpsons taped out , Minecraft pe, and family Guy much better. The cameras are nice, but far from the best. The look and feel is also an illusion, mainly plastic body, and super "soft" screen gets scratched super easy. Ram is 3 gigs, but ui takes half at all times. Games like family Guy quest for stuff cause it to pay so bad it's almost unplayable. Fingure print scanner is great. Lack of NFC or ir capabilities really drop the value for us in the united States, other models, older models from other countries have these features for the same price so we get a nice slap in the face on the one. Charging cable is short, so make sure to pick up a longer one. Only dual SIM if you decide not to use a SD card as that takes up one of the slots. Call volume is horrible, very hard to hear. It does have a ton of settings..for everything. Still waiting in Android 7.0 no idea why it's listed in the features already. No CDMA for Verizon also hurts the value since they are one of the largest coverage carriers. Seems like a lot of bad things, but over all it is a good phone for the price, but a few phones like Samsung Galaxy j and the LG Stylo 3 might be a better value now. I think honor needs to worry less about the bloated camera and more about built and ui quality, emui 4 just sucks. Still can't install or move apps to the SD card without rooting the phone. Again, seems like.more bad that's good, but chances are you wont regret buying this one, just make sure you get a good quality screen protector, and a heavy duty case. One last complaint, is that other regions have a 4 gig ram, 64 gig memory version for a small amount to more that we in the USA still have no access too. Seems like we get the low end version. Had this phone about a month and a half and will be selling it for a Stylo 3 or a ZTE axon 7/8 soon unless nugget improves this phones preformance a lot.

I bought this phone as an iPod replacement and don't use it with a SIM. It is quick, the UI is good but not stock Android, doesn't have too much bloatware, and fits comfortably in my hand. The expandable memory is a big improvement over an iPod. Battery life is really good for my use case. The screen is nice for most video, but not great. If you plan to use it for video, buy a nice glass screen cover and replace the plastic screen cover delivered on the device - it really makes a difference watching video. The camera is okay, but doesn't have all the features of flagship phones, but for the price I expected cut corners in some features. And as for my use case, the music and video playback are really good. My only complaint is bluetooth doesn't automatically connect to the nearest device (car, jambox, headphones) like my iPhone. All in all though, it's a great value for the price I paid.

Best for the price I paid. I got it on sale, and I am surprised how good this phone is. Doesn't keep up with the 700+ phones but easily compares to other phones that are price at $400.

I have done a lots of research about this phone. I have seen many good review about it, but I doubted it since it's a China phone. However I made a big mistake. I bought it on Black Friday since it's onsale for $150. I used it about 12 days and everything seem to working fine, the problem was the camera. Whenever I open the camera app, it's frozen the phone up. The battery last just a little over a day, not 2 days as advertisement. So I take it back to Best Buy and return it. They charged me $35 restocking fee even they sold me a bad phone. It's not fair. So don't ever buy any China phone. It's wasted time and money.

Love the phone and features. Fairly easy to set up. HOWEVER! Second day the phone Froze up and needed to be rebooted. This may have been a glitch and if it happens again, its going back. I was very surprised as this is my second Huawei phone. My last phone was giving me signs after about owning for 2 years that it need replacement. Now I have to search for tech support phone number.

I loved this phone the 1 month it worked. Will no longer turn on. Took 3 phone calls and 11 days to receive a shipping label to send in my phone. After just a few days they determined it had "water damage". Some bull about a sensor that displays water damage. This phone has not had water damage, they just don't want to fix it. Customer service is horrible.

Awesome​ big screen dual camera bright flash nice color option dual SIM only thing is that the could be a bit slower​ than your usual Android phone but ok I would recommend to go download Evie launcher or if not go to the internet and download 7.0 launcher latest and u would have a nice experience​ using nougat launcher hopefully Huawei would release nougat 7.0 soon and make it look more like stock Android and also I just don't know if it's normal that the 6x gets a tad bit warm and next time Huawei can u include a case in the box and maybe headohones

Got this phone for Christmas based on reviews I read about it the look and feel of the phone is great the camera not so great and for some odd reason this phone lags soooooo much I regret buying it so disappointed in this phone I have to go through all kinds of things just to get the screen to respond after it freezes up I would not buy ever again nor would I recommend save your money and get something better .

Great hardware, plenty of power and storage, and great battery life, but the battery could last a week between charges and what go is it when the device doesn't do what I need it to do? The longest you can set the screen time out to is 10 minutes. Once the screen turns off I receive no notifications. The "Notifications turn on screen" does NOT work. Yes, I'm aware that there are three, yes THREE, different settings that need to be enabled in order to receive notifications from this phone. They are. I can't tell you how many times I've unlocked my phone only to find I missed important texts or emails. These are known issues that Hauwei seem to think are "features." Unfortunately I think it's past Best Buy's return window.

I just bought it , and the screen is broken. where could I change it?

This is my 2nd review for this phone. The first one was a more positive one. I should have waited and put more hours in usage on the phone. Before going into the review, I'd like to note that not all Best Buy stores are providing the $35 restocking fee screen that one must sign when an unlocked phone is purchased. This is unfair because the customer won't know until they try to return the phone.This happened to me with this phone and now I'm screwed out of $35. So much for trying to stay budget friendly. Here I am, I am giving this phone a 1 star. While you might think this phone and handle multitasking, it doesn't. It starts to lag badly and it won't recover when you close all apps. Phone has to be restarted. I tried a factory reset, still did not help. It's happened to me in 2 scenarios. First, if you're on a call on speaker and browsing the internet, try sharing something like on Hangouts, the performance starts to degrade. Another is, use android auto to listen to Spotify while navigating somewhere then try to add a destination. Again performance is comprised to the point that you can't use it efficiently, so a reboot is required. This phone also doesn't allow you to add a trusted place as an auto unlock. Also, certain apps don't support this phone, more specifically, the processor. Fitbit doesn't support it and blames that, Nike+ and SNKRS don't send notifications and again, processor is to blame. I know this phone is cheap compared to others, but still phones have come a long way that multitasking in mid range phones is not an "extra feature". Friends have a Sony XA Ultra and the new one XA1 Ultra, then they both excel while multi-tasking, I will be purchasing one of those instead.

Huawei Honor 6x has 1 huge problem! IT IS THE GYROSCOPE, IT MEAN VR! If you might look into using VR or even watch 360 videos, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! This phone's gyroscope is always shaking, it's a very well known problem on the internet if you look it up, but they never fix it. Huawei will probably respond this is unusual, no, it's not, they pretend they know nothing. Factory reset does nothing. Many people exchanged but the problem is still there. Huawei support site has nothing on this issue. I think the return period is 14 days, and I only found out on the 17th day because I just bought my VR headset. fk.

It was an Ok phone. But we needed something cheap in a pinch so it is what it is.

I was looking forward with great expectation on using this new phone based on a lot of favorable reviews, but I was greatly disappointed...phone O.S. is Android 6.0 instead of Android 7.0. Since all my phones are of the 7.0 and 7.1.1, I decided to return it. Best Buy is just the seller and has probably nothing to do with this. I will continue buying from Best Buy but I will stay away from Huawei brands.

Make certain you get a screen protector. You look at the phone wrong and it breaks.

Problem is that the Gyroscope Constantly Shaking - VR is Messed Up!.i don't know why Huawei don't even mention nothing about that? That problem is all over the internet,youtube and until today i don't see any fix from Honor.i made like 5 factory reset, exchange the phone for another one and guess what the Gyroscope still shaking! Please Costumer service look into this....

Way beyond my expectation. This phone works just like some much more expensive phones.

I don't understand the reason to make this phone for 2 SIM cards, because after you install two SIM cards works only one. To get work the second one you have to turn off or remove the first one. What a joke! Its a good phone if you need to use only one primary SIM card. I tried to factory reset it a few times and different settings, but nothing works. Goes back to best buy the next day after purchasing and I will have to pay a $35 restocking fee, FOR WHAT??? HUAWEI !!! I can't read your mind!!! You have to specify that this phone is not a dual sim active.
