With absolutely no apps running in background, it only holds a charge for around 24-30 hours. When I first purchased the phone, a full charge would last me 2-3 days, but not anymore. Other than that, I don't have any complaints or complements.

Faulty Phone I Received

Sometimes half of the screen or full screen becomes Black. I asked Honor help for troubleshooting, they said to test the phone in safe mode, but the phone itself is not going into safe mode as per their instructions.

Many menu options are in different places than any other phone, and there are enough differences from vanilla android that it's borderline impossible to get used to.

I have owned multiple flagship phones from Apple, Samsung and LG as a long time jump on demand T-mobile customer. This phone is as good or better than any of them. Carriers want to lock you in but its becoming very apparent that unlocked and purchasing outright is way to go. This phone is solid across the board and is extremely fast, great camera, excellent screen, and flagship quality at a great price. Black Friday at 299 including case smokes anything @ this price period! Works fantastic on T-mobile network. Simple 30 second nano sim swap. Not sure what else you could want in a phone? Fingerprint sensor is flawless and better than anything else available. Yes that includes the iphone. I have read so called professional reviews knocking battery life; really. This phone has a standard fast charge cable and battery life in real life applications is great. I would suggest this phone and T-mobile to anyone! Most cell phones are made in China anyway so whats the difference in a name?? Best Buy as usual provides great support if needed and a great customer resource for convenience, pricing, financing, warranty, etc.

I am a big phone user, video chat, movies etc. this battery does an outstanding job lasting for a movie or 2 (depending of how long I am watching for) Display: The auto display feature doesn't always kick in when It needs to but the display is VERY crisp and looks VERY good even in direct sun light Fingerprint scanner is one of the fastest I have seen, even against the likes of the nexus 6p looks just as good ad the premium Samsung phones at half the cost BAD: button placement is akward. used to power being ABOVE the volume not below.. took some getting used to EXTREMELY slippery GET A CASE ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this phone will slide on just about any surface or pocket you find I honestly love this phone. it premium, comes completely unlocked out of the box I went from tmobile to cricket and there was NO re-doing settings etc. just pop the sim in and go

Outstanding phone

Skype video chat, Netflix/hulu, facebook, etc etc the battery is a beast and last a long time w/o getting too hot fast charging: NOT as fast as Samsung, however Samsung gets hot when you quick charge, the Honor 8 gets warm but NOT hot and its pretty quick display is amazing, even if direct sun light. once again NOT as bright as the higher end Samsung, but still no issues with direct sun light memory:. owned the Samsung s7 and it always seem like I barely had any available ram, MAYBE 1GB if im lucky. this phone MINIMUM I have 2.2-2.5gb all the time of free ram which keeps the phone running smooth and fast Fingerprint scanner is FAST. on par with the nexus 6p easily and the button does quick connect to apps as well which is convenient LOOKS premium, gorgeous looking phone and it looks amazing CAMERA takes amazing photos with lots of different features..good low light photos.. really really great pics BAD: slippery as **** GET A CASE asap. this phone will slip and slide over just about any surface it is on so PLEASE buy a case.. I have scratches on the back of my phone already and I never once dropped it auto brightness: little bit sketchy.. inside it almost always defaults to the most dim setting no matter how bright the room is, kinda annoying button placement is NOT really a bad thing, but its annoying bc the volume and power buttons are opposite what your used to. as I said not relaly a bad thing, just takes some time getting used to
