Got this before Huawei products were banned. Good: -Performed great and got various updates to operating system. -Dropped a few times without anything breaking. -Like the stylish design -Got for good price $199 over 2 years ago. -works on tmobile network Bad: -After 2 years, battery will die after about 1 hour of use searching the web. Too bad phones are moving away from easily replaceable batteries. You pretty much have to get a new phone every 2 years since the battery has to be replaced by then. -Wifi calling won't work on tmobile network

This is a great phone for about half the price of Samsung or Apple. I have not had any issues with it so far. I would suggest getting a cover for it right away, as it is very slippery

This amazing phone with great quality built, blazing speed, and with one third of the iPhone 6s which I switched from. Made saying that this phone is really better than than the iPhone and also it showing that how much apple is over pricing their products. Get it and you will never regret it. I prefer the Sapphire blue. :)

Bought this Honor 8 coming from a Nexus 6p. I have to say I am impressed. Here are my list of pros and cons. Pros -Feels great in the hand (not too big and not too small) -The phone is fast. I don't think I've experienced a slowdown. -Expandable storage up to 128GB or dual sim if traveling. -Dual Camera (with the dual camera you can get a "Wide aperture" effect that blurs the background and makes them look great as well as other effects and features. -Battery last longer than a day (I usually finish the day with 40 - 60% Battery left. -Quick Charge - Charges battery in no time at all. I think it's like 47% from 0% in 30 minutes. -Fingerprint reader is lightning fast, also a programmable button and other fingerprint button functions (press, double press, long press, swipe down and up for notification shade, swipe side to side to switch between photos). Seriously so convenient to not only unlock my phone but launch the camera or voice recognition as I'm pulling the phone out of my pocket (2 of my 3 programmed apps). -IR transmiter is a plus. For those times you can't find the TV remote -Beautiful design. (I bought the blue one) Cons -You need a case for this phone as it has a glass front and back (many of the deals for this phone currently include a case) -Better get a screen protector (Although you can register your phone within a month of buying for a 3 month screen replacement protection) -Glass screen protectors don't stick all the way to the edges due to the curved glass design (not the biggest deal to me but you might think differently) -EMUI 4.1's launcher is kind of like IOS with no app drawer, but seriously just download another launcher. (EMUI 5.0 Android 7 is great! Currently running the BETA as my daily firmware with NO problems at all. Officially releasing in February) Can't think of other cons at the moment. I am loving this phone, so many great features and functions built in. The upcoming EMUI 5.0 improves in many areas making a great phone even better.

Great phone for price, new to this phone, seems good so far. Got for a beginner phone user, they are happy with camera, speed, sound, weight. Time will tell how it works.

Bought this phone for my prepaid service and am impressed with everything about the phone - minus one detrimental feature.. Although aesthetically beautiful, the glass back on this phone is so slippery that the phone will slide off of ANYTHING that is the slightest bit unlevel. This resulted in a drop with screen breakage less than 10 hours of having the phone. Even with the cracked screen I still love this phone. Once a case is applied the problem is solved, and replacement parts are readily available and cheap. Amazing phone and features. Flagship build quality, specs and features without the $700 price tag.

I got the Honor 8 as a backup cellphone to my iPhone 6s Plus. After using the Honor for a few weeks I decided it was a excellent phone. Voice quality was excellent. The battery charge life was very good. I allowed my son to borrow it and he ask to keep it after two weeks of use. An all round good mobile device.

I've had this phone for about a month now and I have no complaints as of yet. Battery is really good, camera snaps some good pics and handling is pretty easy.

It's a good deal when I bought it at just 299. it runs very fast, and the battery can last for a whole day.

I was looking for an option to replace a broken Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. I could of done the easy thing and just go to my carrier and pick up the S7 edge, but I decided to to do some more research on alternate options which thankfully led me to the honor 8. The build quality is on par with the high end Samsung devices and specs are as well. The camera quality is definitely not Samsung, but it's no slouch either. Huawei has made an excellent product at an amazing price and trust me when I say you will not regret making this your everyday device.

I picked this phone up for my daughter. She is loving it so far. The camera is fantastic and she loves the way it looks and feels. The battery life is still not known, but I expect that it will be fine. It doesn't lag or lockup at all.

Love this phone! It would be 5 Stars if the camera worked better. The auto focus is not great and zooming in makes things blurry. It's the first phone I've had that let's you delete bloat wear. It's a great phone!

I love it. It's fast and wasn't super expensive. The worst thing is it's a fingerprint magnet and falls easily. Get a case for it.

The Honor 8 is an extremely fast phone and looks great with it's metal and glass design. I would definitely recommend.

Considering between this one and S7edge after my LG G4 died, and now I totally believe I made the right decision. For ~half the price I get almost the same as out of S7edge. I switched to the Google now launcher, and it works as easy as my past phone!

Decent phone. Bought it when I had to return my Note 7, but eventually decided to stick with Samsung. The UI is decent, but not as flexible as Samsung or stock Android. The fingerprint sensor is phenomenal, and the ability to assign actions to it is great. BUT the lack a of physical back button just kills it for me. The cameras are OK at best. USB C is great, expandable storage is also great.

I picked this phone up for my Father-in-law, he is a fan of Androids. I was excited to try out the phone. It's a very solid phone for the price. I would suggest it to anyone looking for phone that is unlocked and has plenty of storage. I'm not that much of a fan of the OS, but that is something that will change over time. If you like android phones and are looking for something that isn't going to cause huge financial stress, then you should give this phone a go.

very very fast , beautiful design , I already connected to all my systems and work perfect . it was my choice to replace a galaxy note 3, after be worry with my new a galaxy note 7, I returned and I buy this one. I review different options and this was the best choice.

I wasn't sure about this hone but You'll get the same camera pix, space and speed than S6 or I5 for less money.

Very comparable to the galaxy minus the price and the waterproof feature. Love the sleek look and feel.
