This phone has all the features of a smartphone need. the cameras are very good and the battery lasts all day and more!

the good- very fast at processing- good display- smooth user interface- decent camera- pristine screen and glass back- very fast fingerprint sensor not so good- short battery life- fingerprint magnet- hard to find good accessories - glass back makes phone slippery and seem fragile- overall- a great phone for the mid-level price

Good Value for the money, premium design, latest android (7.0 Nougat) and a nice camera. The fingerprint sensor is really fast and very practical. You can program it to do various tasks as well as using it to sign onto online services. Battery life is average, bit other than that it's a really good phone for less than $400

Having used the phone for a week and it's a great phone overall. Nice looking, fast. The most impressive part is the battery life. Some online reviews say the screen can be on for 5-6 hours. I play Pokemon Go a lot and this phone can normally last for a whole day, unless I spent too much time attacking gyms, :)

I bought this for my wife because we will not buy a contract phone again. It has dual 12mp cameras and takes serviceable shots. She is happy with it. Operation is smooth, she receives a strong signal, and is having no issues with the UI. Based on this phone I will look at Huawei for our next upgrades.

Bought this Phone for my wife's birthday, she loved it, has been working without issues, I bought a 3 years warranty just in case. It has all the features of a high end phone for a low price.

At this time I cannot in good faith recommend this phone to anyone. Here are the reasons why: 1. Lack of support. Honor / Huawei were on a social media spree once the device was launching but have all but went silent at this point in regards to customers questions, concerns, feedback. The Honor 8 Community wasn't even setup properly until I provided notice that the link was dead. Since then I haven't seen one response to anything I've posted in the Community. 2. The GPS unit on the Honor 8 is beyond horrible. It'll work from time to time, but on a reliability scale it would rate a 1 out of 5 with 1 being the lowest available score. GPS is important for numerous reasons and this devices GPS is often flaky causing apps to not properly register the devices actual location. On a daily basis I am reminded by the Nest app that my location is reported incorrectly by the Honor 8 which may cause issues with Home/Away Assist. With Uber, if I'm inside buildings sometimes the Honor 8 will put me in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. With Google Maps, it'll jump all over the place when attempting to get driving directions until I actually start the navigation at which point it's able to better locate the device. I have the Honor 8 set at the highest accuracy for tracking using numerous sensors in the device, and yet still location accuracy is garbage. Honor reached out to me and wants to push this issue off as possibly a carrier issue when I haven't had these issues with any previous device. 3. The Bluetooth chip works but cuts out often if the Honor 8 isn't in line of site with the sensor on some Bluetooth accessories being used. I often jog with Beats Powerbeats 2 which have audio cut out if I turn my head the wrong direction while the Honor 8 is in my back pocket while jogging. Didn't have this issue with the same headset using my iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, or Nexus 5X. 4. Phone calls have been hit or miss. Usually the quality of voice calls are great, but many times callers cannot hear what I'm saying as if I'm being cut off while talking. It's almost like it's a one way lane where while the party on the other end is talking, doesn't recognize that I am trying to interject. Again, Honor reached out to me and wants to push this issue off as possibly a carrier issue when I haven't had these issues with any previous device. 5. In addition, there really is no reason why the device doesn't support carrier WiFi calling. It shouldn't be because of costs. The ZTE Axon 7 has support for dual SIMs, upcoming support for Google's Daydream VR platform, and upcoming support for carrier WiFi calling... all at the same price point as the Honor 8. Honor said WiFi calling is dependent on the carrier when my carrier (T-Mobile) fully supports WiFi calling. Honor has chosen not to certify the Honor 8 with T-Mobile's WiFi calling protocol. 6. Competition and pricing for similar phones at this range have better support and communication. ZTE actually responds to its users regarding the Axon 7 and provide a full 2-year warranty at the exact same price point. Google is on the verge of releasing a new device that may be a bit more but will come with much better support. Get it together Honor... or this may be my last device purchased from this company. Heck I'm still within my return period.

The camera is incredible, the photos are super sharp. Overall, this phone has great features and is easy to navigate.

There are only two drawbacks 1) it needs a bigger screen, 2) the built-in speakers are weak. Everything else is awesome, camera, resolution, memory, storage, speed, features. Great product for the price.

I bought this phone to replace my Huawei Nexus 6P that I broke. It was supposed to be a temporary phone until my next upgrade but after using it for a few weeks I've decided that I'm going to keep it. It's very fast, has a good camera and looks beautiful.

Very impressed with the Honor 8. Really a premium phone. I love the super fast finger print reader. It's packed with features. With the reader, in an addition to opening the phone I can open 3 different apps of my choice, open the settings, take a picture and then scroll through the photo gallery. The phone has an iPhone look and feel and runs Android. Love it!

This phone is well priced, competitive with the traditional "flagship" phones, and works beautifully. Having the option of 2 SIM cards is a plus, especially if you need a separate number for business, or want to maintain an international number.

Have been using the phone for two months now. No complaints. Good battery life. Charges really fast. Great phone. Is good or better than 700$ phones.

This phone's screen is a bit smaller than the average smartphone nowadays (5.2 inches), but the screen is amazing and the phone is blazing fast.

First of all, this device in sapphire blue is GORGEOUS! Stunning. And crazy slippery, so use caution. It's super thin and has a very high-end feel. The device works flawlessly. I'm tremendously impressed with functionality and speed. The camera is excellent, though I do NOT do anything complicated with it. The fingerprint reader IS THE BEST I'VE EVER USED, and I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and an iPhone 7 in circulation to compare it to. Bar none, it is the fastest fingerprint reader and never requires me to do it again or get my finger "just so" as the top tier phones I listed do (for me). Apps work well, bluetooth works well, charging is fast and reliable. I have NO complaints or concerns. Roll in the relatively low price of this phone and I'd say this is one of the best buys on the market.

Phone is very nice, thin, run faster,, it has IR which can be used for Remote. Huawei came out with very nice phone. My brother love it.
