Great Device for the price

The device is a little on the bulky side but the screen goes from edge to edge. If you get a case other than the one that comes with the device you should be just fine. One con about the mate 9 is the screen isnt as responsive as it should be. You might have to tap the screen more than once. One of the Pros about this device is flexibility to custom all the settings but this gets to be a headache until you get use to it. Also I came from iPhone and I'm pretty happy all tho I had to buy a Samsung watch right after I just bought an apple watch a month ago.

I was about to decide between Samsung and Apple when I got a recommendation for Huawei mate 9. I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of reviews and decided to give it a chance. I don't regret. I got the looks of an iPhone with the functionality of Android and more! No wonder why they call Huawei mate 9 "The Beast"!! Trust me, do a quick search on YouTube, you will not regret.

I got lucky and found this over the holidays as an open-box and the sales lady was willing to make a deal. I was going to just put it up on swappa.com to resell and make a little $$, but the more I used the phone, the more I liked. Huawei makes some quality devices, I only wish they had more market penetration here in the states.

The custom UI is a bit different but OK. The fingerprint reader is great to unlock the phone, very fast. No need to wait through the Pixel waiting list.
