I used the watch for a few days and it worked pretty well but it didn't change my life and didn't find it to be necessary, so I returned it. Good product, looks like a real watch.

Got it to replace my Microsoft Band because the wrist band on the Band keeps breaking. Doesn't even come close to doing everything that the Band does. Doesn't track sleep. It uses Google Fit for tracking things...which comes nowhere near Microsoft Health. Doesn't have GPS so have to rely on your phone to track distances, etc. If the Microsoft Band wristband didn't keep breaking I would have never switched.

We're pleased you chose Huawei as an alternative, and we are saddened this device did not live up to your expectations. We crafted this smartwatch with premium materials, an elegant design, and powerful hardware to give a quality look and great functionality. The Huawei Watch does require a smartphone to utilize functions such as the GPS, we will forward your sentiments on the GPS feature to our development team for further review. The battery lasted only about a day. No built in sleep monitoring, so a 3rd party app was used.

Hi, we're sorry to hear that your Huawei Watch battery life only lasts a day. If the battery life is short, follow the steps below:

Check whether you have installed third-party apps or watch faces such as wearADay. Third-party watch faces are not approved by Google and can drain the battery very quickly when in ambient mode.
If you find that you often wake the screen unintentionally when lifting or tilting your wrist, open the Android Wear app and touch to open the settings screen. Under DEVICE SETTINGS, select the connected Huawei Watch and turn off Tilt to wake screen.
On Android phones, you can open the Android Wear app and touch to open the settings screen. Under DEVICE SETTINGS, select the connected Huawei Watch, and then touch Watch battery to view detailed battery statistics.

If a third-party app is using too much battery, try uninstalling it and see if your watch's battery life improves. Hope that helps! (NS) HuaweiCustomerCare

As much as I love the functionality of the watch and all of the compliments I received, Huawei builds very poor quality product. I got my first watch in November of 2015. Before 12 months it stopped taking a charge. Customer service sent me a new watch because it was within warranty. Now 10 months later same issue and they will not stand behind their product. They do not warrant the replacement product only the original product. If you think $350 for a watch to last 12 months is acceptable then you should buy this watch. Otherwise I would stay away from Huawei

Best Looking and Future Proof Smart Watch

Wow oh wow. I am impressed with this Huawei watch. It replaced my first Gen Moto 360 and I am loving it. Screen is finally fully rounded and without the flat bottom tire the 360 seems to enjoy having. Screen resolution seems to also be improved given the crisp looking text and images. I have yet to run into any issues with it. It runs fast and battery lasts all day. I have been wearing mine for 2 weeks and have yet to see a single scratch on it which means a lot given my career field. This watch is the Android Wear watch to get. It also is future proof given that it has an embedded Speaker. Hopeful Android Wear brings support for it in the near future.

I own and operate a website that is dedicated to the Android Wear Watches and their faces. I am an avid user and abuser of Android Wear watches. This watch is my most prized watch in my collection. Stylish, no "Flat-Tire" and works very well. Battery life is better than ALL my others.

I really liked the watch but...

For some reason the watch would frequently disconnect its self from my wifi at home, i didnt understand why but it did. I purchased the watch to pair with my samsung Galaxy Note 5 because i tried out the Gear S2 and even though i loved just about everything about it, the watch face felt too small and even the large wrist band wasnt big enough for my wrist. Anyways the Huawei watch is a very nice watch and i love how well and crystal clear the display looks, the main reason why i bought the watch was because it looks almost identical to my Citizen's Night Hawk watch which to me was awesome! Pairing was fairly easy but thats where it pretty much ends. I was unable to properly sync my phone with the watch. Here is what i was NOT able to sync: 1. Phone calendar under watch "Agenda" app 2. Facebook Notifications 3. Yahoo email 4.youtube (paid) sub app called "video Tube" 5. Web Browser (paid) app third party package 6. Pictures (paid) app third party Package could not sync at all or add any. 7. Music from phone. Could only access and control Goggle Music through watch. 8. Weather alerts and climate information, i was never able to get access to this through the watch. 9. Answer calls through the watch, i could make calls but not answer them because when my phone would ring, the info from the call would not appear on the watch. I was however able to see text messages through the watch but not reply to them. Apps i was able to sync with and with out third party app packages: 1. Google calendar under wear calendar $1.99 cost to properly sync. 2. Web browser to access ebay app included in $9.99 android wear third party app package. Phone contacts. Took a bit but i got it to sync. 3. Lots of nice looking watch faces all of them worked well except the ones that would give you climate informtion. Due to lack of proper wifi connection. Hopefully huawei will consider adding a micro sim based smart watch to their line up in the future so that the watch can work independentely with out the need for wifi. Thats about it. Maybe i just got an improperly working watch as others who have my phone didnt seem to have the issues i am having but i wouldnt want to re purchase it again because i dont want to get another flop. However if huawai comes up with a micro sim independent version, maybe i will consider it again. Overall the watch is very elegant looking and i feel that if i had a true Android wear capable phone like the Google Nexus or Huawei smart phone, this watch would work flawlessly. Seeing that most of the apps i use on my note 5 seems to only be compatible with their Tizen OS, that could be the reason why my phone didnt properly sync with the Huawei watch. I guess im just going to have to wait and see if samsung comes out with a larger face watch that doent look like its made for a woman's wrist. Or if huawei steps up their game a bit more and make a new watch with sim card capability for bluetooth connectivity with more phones and make it more independent, would be great. Well this is my real review on the watch, i hope this helps you guys out who have the same phone i do. Just becareful with the apps you use on your phone because if you buy this watch it may not be compatible with your apps and you might have to buy 3rd party apps to get some of your apps to properly work with the watch. My only loss was $9.99 for the Android wear apps package. For what it does though, i feel like this watch should not be worth more then $299.99 but thats just me. Ps. Taking it backnto the store to get my money back.

After reading the reviews over and over I decided to pull the trigger and purchase this watch. My only draw back was simply that I had an iPhone and the reviews on how the watch did with iOS was marginal at best. After seeing it on sale I decided take the plunge. The Watch itself is amazing. Screen is beautiful, even with the metal band it's not too heavy or bulky. Plenty of great features on the watch and a great conversation piece. At 2-400 these watches are well in their price ranges. Only draw back is the software for iOS. Android wear for iOS is horrible. You have to keep the app open at all times for the watch to keep connected and on top of this you have limited functionality. You still get basic alerts, time, weather, etc...If it can land in your iPhones notification area, it can get to the watch as long as the Android App is running at all times. Not sure why this is seeing that my Microsoft Band and Fitbit apps do not have to be running and I still received alerts. Granted, Huawei doest not make Android Wear, I understand this, but procurement of their own app to work with IOS better would defiantly sell more of these to iOS users. Only other complain is the lack of a light sensor. You have to manually increase or lower the brightness on the watch with your surroundings. If not, at night you'll look like you have a flashlight hanging off your wrist. Would I recommend this to a friend, yes. To an Android user for sure. I would only recommend to an iOS user if they are on sale. Simply because you're not going to obtain the full amazingness of this watch so why pay for it. Hopefully Android Wear for iOS will grow up soon allow more functionality from Android style watches. The reviews in the app store is enough to scare anyone away from purchasing products like this sadly.

The watch is made of a high quality. The IOS is easy to navigate and to pair with your phone. the Battery life is good, i would say 1 to 2 days worth of batter every charge. The display is beautiful. the watch looks heavy but is not. Actually is pretty light overall. This is my first smartwatch and i Love it. The brightness of the screen is great and there is no problem seeing the time under direct sunlight. In general this is an outstanding piece of technology. Cons: umm maybe the lack of speakers so you can answer phone calls or even listen to music. This is not a big of a deal for me but i would be nice to have it.

I I purchased this watch completely on a whim, totally impulse driven. No buyers remorse here; I am thoroughly taken with this beauty. It looks great, functions perfectly, and the only drawback is a slight difficulty connecting the charger. In all other respects, it functions perfectly.. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice.

Best smart watch used so far.

I've used a Motorola 360, LG Urbane and even a Pebble Steel. This is by far my favorite smart watch to date. The screen is spectacular and the wifi feature makes it easy for me to leave my phone on the charger in the office and roam without missing notifications. The battery life has been excellent I can make it through most days with moderate to heavy usage and get home after being out for 12-14 hours and still have 40-50% left on the battery (with ambient turned on). The most recent Android Wear update also enabled the built-in speaker making calling via the watch possible, though you do look a little odd having a conversation with your watch. My one and only complaint about this product is the garbage charger. It seems I constantly have to put the watch on the charger several times before finding the sweet spot and getting it to charge. This can be pretty annoying when I wake up to find the watch didn't charge, usually I can get it nearly to full by the time I leave the house anyway since the charging cycle is really quick. It wouldn't dissuade me from buying it but if it happens with all of them people should know about it.

This is the most elegant looking Android Wear option. Battery life is a little weaker than on the competitive Watch Urbane, but I still get through a full day without a problem as long as I don't keep the brightness up too much. (Choosing a watch face that doesn't use too many lit pixels helps too.)
