The only frustrating things about my new M Pro was the absence of USB Port. So happy to have found a great solution—doesn’t dangle off the side like the other adapter I purchased. The only problem is I’ve had to remove the bottom laptop case protector as the hyperdrive won’t otherwise fit flush. That’s a minor thing though. Like the carry case as well!

This is a mandatory purchase if you use thumb drives and a secondary monitor. If you download photos or videos from a flash drive th slot in the hub is very convenient.

I bought this job for my new MacBook Air and it has helped a lot because the new models come with one type c ports so it has been a life saver

My new MacBook Pro only comes with one USB 3 connector and no CD/DVD burner. Quite a comedown from my 2010 MacBook Pro. This device allows much better connectivity.

Overall good quality docking station exactly as advertised. Works well with my Mac Air laptop. I use it to facilitate a larger external monitor as the latest Macbook's do not have the ability to connect directly to an external monitor. I am happy with my purchase.

Frustrating that I have to have an adaptor to use basic computer accessories (like a external mouse). And...it doesn't seat securely to the laptop. A tiny bump or slight movement causes it to lose connection—and that happens often.

Works as described, has all the ports necessary that the computer did not come with.

It doesn't plug in well with my Mac port. The connection to my monitor is really sporadic. I'm going to either toss it or donate it. I don't think I can return it because it's been more than 30 days. I paid full price for it. The salesperson recommended this to me. It's junk.

My Macbook did not come with a USB drive so it was necessary to purchase this product to compensate for my Macbook's deficiencies. The USB hub works great.

It works well but this is my second one in less than a year. It doesn’t secure in very good so it’s always disconnecting from my computer sadly and I feel like I’ll break it. It’d be 5 stars if they made something to stabilize it while connected

Decided to go with the 1 USB C connector and it works just fine. Also, works to mirror display from my Ipad 11 inch Pro to TV Via HDMI cord.

HyperDrive allows me to connect second larger display, and other devices using USB (Mouse, Keyboard, etc.)

Great HyperDrive 7-port, works well with my external monitor and added devices.

It’s actually perfect, but my only problem is that there is only one usb-c and when plugged onto the computer it also covers the second usb-c port that’s already on the computer so you can only use one usb-c port at all times.

I highly recommend this product. Your money would be well spent.

This handy little item lets me use all my "stuff" with my new Mac. I don't need any additional cables or anything else to use my old free standing back up and archive hard drives or cards from cameras, etc. Lots of "stuff" from my past computing is accessible thru this universal USB-C hub. Just plug it in and find the files your were looking for. This hub simply plugs into the ports on the side of your laptop Mac. No more electronic cables going all over the place.

The device works perfect. Using this with a macbook pro 16 and a HDMI cable doesn't fit perfectly and is wobbly. Rarely when i end up touching the device, it shakes giving me a feeling it could break any time. Otherwise connections have been perfect.

I bought this looking to add additional ports. And I love the fact that its slim and that it has a type c connection

This hub was recommended by the staff at Best Buy and I am really glad I got it since I need a USB port for my MacBook. It is streamlined, light and out of the way.
