    This has got to be one of the best accessories made for the recent MacBooks. This allows me to use multiple USB devices and connect to conventional HDMI and Ethernet adapters.

    Was useful but not steady. Another issue was very loose connection with laptop while at the same time very difficult to disconnect usb connection on other side of hub which In evidently makes connection to laptop very unstable.

    It is good but it shouldn't be necessary if it weren't because the new mack does not have real usb slots. I would recommend to a friend only if they had usb slot issues.

    This hub is enough for a normal user. My only real complaint is that it seems a little loose since it is only being held in by the USB C port (Since my macbook does not have the headphone jack on the left side, and that is where I connect this.)

    I bought this unit so I could reduce the number of cables coming off my macbook pro. It only has one USB-C port and could use another. It cannot handle a CAT 5 for ethernet. It runs hot and causes issues with the HDMI connection.

    With the new MacBook Pro, there are NO USB ports. So if you have anything USB, like a mouse, you need this. Plus then it also comes with an HDMI port where you can hook up another monitor. Pricey, but pretty much needed.

    Great to have and something your going to need if you get any of the latest macbook pros on the market being that the mac laptops dont cone with hdmi out usb connecters or micro sd or reg sd card reader.
