has the right ports to adapt the usb 3.0

The Adaptor can disconnect very easily from the laptop, so care needs to be taken to have both laptop and adaptor on a flat surface with not alot of movement. It does the job.

Good Quality, Except for Concerns of Breaking

I returned this though due to concerns I would break the C-Drive connections off in my laptop if I bumped into something.

Wasn't a fan

Also every time I tried to unplug my usb-c charging cable from the hub I would end up unplugging the hub from the MacBook instead.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The fact that this is considered one of the better USB C TB3 hubs is an indictment of how bad the USB C ecosystem still is, despite the great promise in the standard. I will be returning this hub. You can not use anything TB3 and charge your MacBook at the same time. You cannot use an external monitor over 60hz (or a 4k at over 30hz) and charge at the same time. You cannot use the HDMI port for more than 60hz (i.e. 1080p at 120hz/144hz) or 4k at 60hz. Just as disappointing, the electronics are not property shielded, which causes wifi to fail when multiple items are plugged in or you are delivering power to a USB device. Gave another star for the industrial design, which is quite nice.
