    This product is required if you want to connect a disk drive. There are no slots built-in the laptop.

    This unit while having a lot of connections does not supply power through the USB port to power an Apple disk drive. You will need to buy the Apple USB to Lightning C adapter.

    It’s a bit more expensive than other similar products on the market. And the USB cords that I plug into it tend to stick and are hard to pull out. It works, but there are probably better products on the market for less.

    Tried to connect using a lot of different HDMI cables as well as devices (2 different monitors and 2 TVs multiple ports) but connections is a hit or miss, doesn't always detect HDMI.
