didn't work well with my MacBook personally because I use a case and it doesn't fit quite flush enough to be used correctly

The quality seemed okay, however the adapter didn’t stay connected very well to the laptop was very loose fitting

I purchased this HyperDrive USB-C type hub and I loved it because of its design and versatility and diverse functions for the extra connection needed. I recommend this USB-C type hub for especially MacBook Pro users. Great expectation.

I used it to pair my new MacBook Air to my printer. Actually, I don't know what I could have done otherwise. Tough attaching and unattaching it's a little flimsy, but with care it should last a long time.

great drive that allows you to connect almost anything to the laptop. 2 USB ports, HDMI port, SD card slot, and USB-C ports. Hate that a new, expensive laptop only has USB-C ports and no way to connect with older connection types.

A must-have for any new Mac that has only USB-c ports. Plugs in on the left side using the power port and the other USB-C. Allows connection of power cord as well as one other USB-C, two USB, HDMI, Micro SD and SD. Really cool device.

Hyperdrive works as advertised. Download and transfer speeds were great!

I bought this attachment before moving to college and it is definitely worth the money! It works great and has all of the ports I needed costing way less than what I would have spent if I bought the dongles for each port I needed!

This accessory is a must with most Macs these days, mine literally has only two lightning ports, I use mine to hook up hdmi, run an external hard drive and cd drive. Works great and it clicks into the computer great, not loose or anything.

Need to be sure it “snaps” in place. But after that it is really great.

This worked well as a hyperdrive; however it doesn’t seem to work when trying to connect to an Apple CD external drive- it has an error message regarding “power” I purchased a different company hub as well but the Apple external drive didn’t work with that one either. I did plug the laptop power cord to the external drive directly, and it didn’t work with that hub either. So it’s not just this hub, that didn’t work; other company hubs didn’t work either. So it has something to do with the external Apple CD drive.

After an initial problem getting a good fit where the connection was in and out, I finally got it in tight and no more problems. Works fine.

My son needed this for photos. He is very pleased with the performance

I bought this to go with my MacBook Air. It provides all the inputs that I need for attaching a CD/DVD drive, external monitor, and I have the capability to use my charger with it. It has performed great with daily use.

Love the ports on the HyperDrive! The only draw back is that it doesn’t fully plug in with the Incase cover on my MacBook Pro.

I’ve only used it for SD card but it works great! Plug it in and roll.

Was not aware of the new USB-C ports on MacBook Pro. This product was suggested by salesperson and appears to work fine.

This little gadget is great to have when your working with multiple devices because the new PRO MAC is not multi- plug accessible.

I'm so glad I don't have to carry around dongles for every accessory I want to use with my new MacBook Pro. However, in order to use this adapter I have to remove the bottom of the plastic shell that is protecting my MacBook. Since the adapter must be pushed all of the way into the USB-C ports, it has to be flush with the side of the MacBook, which does not work when I have the case. More than a minor inconvenience and irritant.
