Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the HyperDrive 7-Port USB C Hub's numerous USB ports, ease of use, and compact size, finding it convenient for expanding their MacBook's connectivity. However, some customers express concerns regarding compatibility issues, the price point, connection stability, and the device's tendency to generate heat. The sleek design is frequently praised. Despite some drawbacks, many appreciate the added ports and user-friendliness.

    Useful but impractical

This product is very useful and has a lot of different ports which I appreciate. However, it doesn't fit around my laptop case, which is a bit impractical. Also, one of the HDMI ports makes a rather annoying high pitch noise when it's connected (probably a defect), so I typically only use the other one.

Outstanding for connecting other accessories such as external drives, USB cards, etc. Really comes in handy, especially the card slots for photo importing.

This attachment makes things easy. I love the portability of it. The only downside is I am unable to use it with the case for my laptop. I have to remove the case and then plug the drive in.

Value for money. You are going to need these kind of hubs if you are using MacBook as every port is Type C and often you will need to connect pen drives, HDD, projector etc.

Does the job - my only gripe is that I have to remove my thin shell case from the bottom of my mac as this has to sit flush against the mac - my own fault for paying more attention to how sleek it looked than function! It's also a pain with connecting an external HDD as it disconnects easily - leading your mac to complaining you haven't ejected your HDD properly.

Ports work better than expected. Can charge from it without affecting speed. Monitor works well through it. I’ve loaded it down with things to connect to it and didn’t notice any issues.

Expands my USB C ports and adds HTMI for a second monitor screen. Nice clean solution for all the cables to remain connected if I need to travel with my travel only.

I purchased this to compliment my MacBook Pro as I needed ports since the MacBook has only thunderbolt 3 ports. This goes with the MacBook seemlessly and matches as well.

The HyperDrive Hub for the new MacBook Pro is very sensitive when plugged into the thunderbolt connectors. I often have to hold it tightly to the computer to connect. But when it works properly it is a decent accessory. I will wait for another similar product to come out and purchase the same.
