All needed connectors are at your immediate disposition. Not having to hook a cable to my external camera is a plus because of the SD card reader. No problem charging my new MacBook!!

This is one of the most useful add-ons to a MacBook Pro you can buy. It works perfectly and fits like a glove. I definitely recommend buying this when it’s on sale for $49.

Basically a must have. If you don’t have the new iPhone 11, then you’re gonna need one of these to just simply plug in your phone. Or just for any USB plug use.

The Hyperdrive is now my must have accessory for the new MacBook. Since it fits into two USB-C ports, it is very secure and the speed is excellent. The carrying pouch is also very convenient.

I purchased this so that I can attach HDMI cable to a Big Screen TV to do editing. This is also great for attaching other devices by the USB connections. Works great for my needs.

This product is great for Apple computers because there’s no really any ports in the machine so this helps to plug in mot things comes in handy

Need to hook up older peripherals? This little hub does the job for me. One issue, though. You may still need a direct USB 3.1 Gen 1 adapter to power things like external CD/DVD drives as the power pass-through port may not run your drive. Some day, the rest of the computing world will catch up to Apple as I hear the new USB-C ports are the thing of the future...faster data transfer and much more adaptable. We'll have to see.

Deliberated buying this Hyperdrive hub or a cable type hub. Decided on this one. It works great. High speed transfer rates, good design/fit and stays in place.

Can’t use with a laptop protector/case, thus returned the item :(

this is the best accessory for the MacBook Pro, SD cards, Micro SD, HDMI and 2 USB plus the two USB-c ports used to plug this in are also here, you lose no ports when plugging this in.

This item was definitely a saver when it comes to watching certain things from my laptop to the TV! Because my TV isn’t compatible for Disney+ all the movies on Disney+ had to be watched on my apple Mac Pro! But now with this device, we can watch all the Disney movies we want on the main TV. This definitely won my children’s hearts! Only issue I have is that it’s hard to place in the laptop while the laptop is wearing a protective case. With that being said, I have to remove the bottom protective case from my laptop just for the device to stay in but other than that it works great!

With only the new USB-C plugs available on the new Pro, this was a useful addition to connect my old drives etc. It’s a snug fit. Push it all the way in until the light comes on!

I like the accessibility of the various external ports. I do not like that it does feel very secure in its attachment to the laptop. The hyperdrive does not always stay securely attached. Frustrating when you are in the middle of working and the connection breaks.

It’s necessary if you have to use usb frequently and make it easier

I left it plugged in for around a week and I guess the heat made it warped. The power cord port often doesn't charge the computer. Memory card reader doesn't work. Adapter sounds like it has loose pieces in it. Very possible that I just have a dud which just means poor quality control.

It’s great. Have no problems except it is easily disconnected by just a slight bounce.
