Pros: portable, light, plenty of options for ports, can charge through USB C port on hub Cons: usb a ports are a tight fit. Need a lot of force to insert or remove devices. Wouldn’t be so bad except the hub slides out from the Mac ports if you stare at it too hard. Also the usb a ports don’t have enough power for the apple external dvd rw SuperDrive.

This is a handy little gadget which offers you the use of more types of connections than provided by apple. Does feel a little flimsy (not made by Apple)

I wish I didn’t have to buy this adapter but that’s a different story. This item is pretty well made. It snaps in pretty tightly. Hopefully it holds up.

I carry this with me everywhere. If my MacBook Pro is with me. Please believe this is with me as well. It comes in handy if you have this computer. Sometimes I forget it has a HDMI port because of the location but it definitely has it, which is a plus for this item.

It's pricy and a way for spoke to make more money. For me, it's a necessity to have this and the item itself is great. But I wish it was altrady a part of the laptop.

Works flawlessly and even perfectly matches the space grey color on the MacBook. But is overpriced for what it is

With only a couple of USB-C ports, this is a must have to be able to connect other devices (I-Phone, External Hard drive, power cord, external monitor, etc.)

Nicely designed, same as space gray based color of MacBook Pro. But a little loose, not perfectly stick to the laptop's edge.

My hyperdrive USB Type C Hub works great! It allows me to work with my Wacom Monitor. I do have to say I wish Apple still had Macs with these ports still in them like the MacBook Air has still. I'd recommend this accessory. It works wel!

This is a great add on for the MacBook Pro. Plugs into the 2 usb-c ports on the side of the MacBook and allows extra ports for usb hdmi usb-c and memory cards.

Works good. Feels a bit flimsy. It can be knocked off pretty easily if trying to change usb or other plugs. Wish it had more than two USB outlets

The Macbook Pro's have one issue... the USBc is the only inputs allows on them. Where I agree it is the right way to go, there are still many needs for USB/HDMI/SD card inputs and this does everything in one. Solid product, and highly recommended over a dongle with a cable.

Great usb c hub for MacBook Pro. Fits nicely and eliminates the need for any dongles. Expect a ethernet. The only downside is that i think the space gray doesn’t match my MacBook Pro space gray exactly. But other then that, makes my life so much easier.

Wanted a multi-functional way to add a second display, and provide USB access. Very sensitive, dropping connection frequently.

The HyperDrive - USB Type-C works as described and is great for travel. I bought it after returning a more expensive "dock" that did not work with my Mac Book Pro.

Seems designed to best work with thunderbolt ports on MacBooks. Has so far worked as advertised. I have not had the problem with loose connectors as others have mentioned. A bit on the pricy side, but will be worth the money in the long haul.

Plug and play - easy to use and perfect for what I needed (USB port for my laptop). A little loose but be sure to securely push it in and you are all set.

Not too bad if you are using on a desk it just gets awkward if its in your lap with this sticking out the side. Does what it says

This is a great, probably the one stop accessory for the MacBook that you will ever need. It does everything, and works great. Output for HDMI works really well, and you can charge and use the ports at the same time. Great product.

I was looking for a simple way to add more inputs to my MacBook Pro. Well, look no further than this item. Simple to use, just plug it in. HDMI input for your external monitor without using one of the two USB ports. Simple and it works.
