This USB adapter allows me to use an extra monitor, wireless mouse, and read cards with my MacBook Pro.

Such a bummer that Apple has made me purchase another item to use their product. Good thing I like the product!

This works. Mac only has 1 port and this gives me options. Only problem I've had is with the SD card.

The product is good for the price. It is still a cheap product, but it gets the job done.

I was sad at first to hear that Best Buy didn't sell any hyper drives. I came back a week later and this one was in the store!

We bought this so that we could plug-in USB 3 into our new MacBook Pro. We also are using this for an external HDMI connector. Works great no complaints!

I loved my hyper drive, now days many laptops do not have cd/dvd drive or optical drives, the hyper drive allows you to add many optical components externally which allows more flexibility.

It should come with the computer, period. It's like... selling you a car then charging you extra for a set of keys so you can use it. You are buying a nice clean looking computer BUT it needs all those ports to be truly useful, to many, so give this bit of kit with the macbook so yoiu can use ut right and right away...

Thsi is exactly what I needed to link all of my components to our new Mac book; so many possibilities!!

This adapter does not have enough power to be able to use the Apple Super Drive. Have not used all connections yet.

With the limitation of only 4 usb-c ports on the new MacBook pros this hub or something like it is essential to get most from accessories that haven’t caught up to the thunderbolt 3 era.

Great addition to my new MacBook Pro, it gives me the versitility to use my older components, usb, hdmi, etc.

This item works. Be aware that only one of the USB-C ports will power a superdrive.

Great and convenient for all of the connections. The only downside is that you have to remove a bottom case for it to fit flush to the side. Otherwise, great product.

Easy to attach to my Mac don’t get in the way and I can use my SD cards to transfer pictures to my lab top!!!

able to plug and play right out of the box. fits perfectly into my 2018 macbook air (purchased in 2019). works with all my existing adapters and equipment. well worth the investment.

I think these ports should still be on the Mac! I was a bit annoyed to have to buy this piece as an add-on.

This product is a super great idea. It makes my MBP actually usable. HOWEVER. The ports are really tight and it is impossible to remove anything from them without accidentally removing the entire unit which really sucks if you have anything else plugged in. Otherwise, works as it should but that issue is really annoying when you have to switch out drives multiple times a day.
