Great docking station

Worked great out of the box with a Macbook and a Dell XPS 13. Fast ethernet connection, video out via HDMI port, and USB ports for the wireless mouse and keyboard. No drivers to worry about; plugged it in and it just worked exactly as I wanted.

Recommend going with maximum number of ports despite the extra cost.

Awesome companion to my iPad pro and laptop

The neck lenght of the USB C cord is just right especially for my laptop. Pass through charging comes in handy. Easy dock with LAN, HDMI and SD Card reader all come in handy. Good fit for my iPad pro as well!

A few other hubs fit tight against the body of the MacBook. It might look nice, but you will find yourself regretting that design choice. This design takes a more defensive approach to those accidental hits your peripherals will take.

It's a little bit pricey, but better than apple costs. So far it works well. I'm happy with it. I use it regularly for work for my travel and meeting room option. You're better off with a bigger version to keep at your desk as a dock if you have multiple displays.

Bought it to accompany my M1 MacBook Pro and it was surprisingly disappointing. Did not connect all my devices to laptop and it had a very slow lag when previewing video footage. When I connected my external hard drive and/or sd cards directly to my laptop it worked and played as normal. This hub did not meet my expectations so I returned it 2 days later. I’m still using my older hub until I find something more compatible.

It works great for that purpose. This is actually the second one we got because my son dropped the first and it got bent at the connection area and does not bend back. Now find it a lot cheaper on Amazon however and of course.
