    I use this with a 2018 iPad Pro and it kicks butt. Totally worth it for use with SD cards to hard drives and connecting to a monitor or TV.

    Absolutely necessary to connect my legacy drives. Disappointed that it has no thunderbolt 2 ports, though none I have looked at does, so no stars deducted for that. Was able to use Gig Ethernet to transfer from 2015 MacBook. Worked okay.

    Have purchased a couple of these and used them on Microsoft Surface laptops and they have worked well, especially for connecting to an external HDMI monitor and external USB keyboard and mouse. Model is lightweight, The cord length could be a bit longer.
