I almost went out to the store to buy a port where I could access my camera memory card, but realized this product already had one. Saved me money!

Using it for a Contiq drawing tablet.

I use it to run a 27" Cintiq drawing tablet that requires both a HDMI and a USB-2, and I can run it just fine from one USB-C socket on my MacBook Pro. The unit also sends power to the MacBook through the same USB-C. Be warned - it cannot charge the battery of the MacBook if the computer battery is below about half-way, when it wants to fast-charge, but otherwise works fine. Also, I discovered by accident that you can run the MacBook on its own mains power and use the Hyper drive simply as a slave, taking its power from the MacBook and this seems to work ok to power the hyperdrive and run the Cintiq with no loss of performance. A good little unit.

Very well made USB-C Hub

Highly Recommend this as a hub. its a bit pricey though. I think others will suffice but this will give you the quality that you are paying for.
