Ok dock. Doesn't output the specified charge watts

The only problem is that it does not passthrough and output wattage that it is specified to. My laptop is in slow charge mode when attached to this dock for charging even though it is supposed to output more than enough wattage to charge it. The laptop never gets to 100%, but gets to and goes between 90% to 95%.

Earlier Mac was better

However, neither one could compare to just having the drives installed in the machine. I hate, hate, hate the idea of having this extra thing dangling from my Mac. Sometimes the old ways are best even if they do add an extra pound to the weight.

It works, but it gets toasty!

The reason I returned it was because of the heat it produces. Heat with electronics is bad, I did not want to find out what the life span is of this thing considering how toasty it gets. I returned it and got something else.

Works great, simple easy quick

This hub lets me close the case and run a display , keyboard and mouse and other USB peripherals using a single USB-C connection to the laptop. I extend the USB-C connection with a cable and am able to run a 3D scanner and 3D printer with the laptop under the bench. The hub gets slightly warm but is not a problem and performance is just like direct connected peripherals.

Poor Quality

It just keeps connecting and disconnecting. Very poor quality. I bought it in November and it is already unusable.
