The jury is still out on this one. I was having problems with my monitor after starting to use this, but I'm not sure if it's due to this gizmo, or if the cords of the monitor are kinking, etc. I did find it was very expenseive.

This thing overheats like crazy only using a few ports. It stops working after about an hour.

Overpriced - I think this is the kind of product you buy out of necessity rather than shop around and find though. Perfectly functional however.

The product is good as long as you connect the USB dongle of the mouse or keyboard. When you connect the USB dongle of the wireless headphones this product completely loses hands down....very bad for wireless headphones with usb dongle...onky if you move your face towards the dongle then the wireless headphones work...moment your head turns away from the USB dongle you lose connection to the wireless headphones...also there is lot of static sound that we get when the wireless headphones dongle is connected thru this device.

It does the job for my MacBook Pro. But I was hoping for more USB ports. I have other gadgets for connecting to my monitor, etc. It works fine with a variety of ports if you need these other options.

Instantly recognized by my Macbook, and seems to work fast. I like having so many options in one package. Downside: it seems to draw power even when the Macbook is in sleep mode, so don't leave it plugged in when not in use.

Device gets extremely hot and does not pick up the data from my external hard drive. When I plugged in my hard drive nothing came up on my computer. Would not recommend, especially for the price point.

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS. I bought this and it only lasted 2 weeks - read the other 1 star reviews, this is a common issue. You may get lucky and it will last several months or up to a year, but this product has proved to be unreliable based on the other low star reviews. Also, the Ethernet port doesn’t even fit the Ethernet cable securely, so if you happened to move the dock a bit the Ethernet cable may unplug itself if you aren’t careful!

The Hyper HyperDrive 9-Port Universal USB-C Docking Station provided the extra ports I needed since my laptop has only 2 USB-C ports, 1 HDMI port, and one USB-2 port. I can take it anywhere I take my laptop.

Purchased to use with my new Macbook Pro which does not have any USB-A ports, only USB-C ports. Works great with Macbook for additional ports and for connecting additional monitor that uses HDMI. Tiny enough to take with me.

This does the job as a multi-port hub but has two key shortcomings: 1) no status lights for the Ethernet port 2) the audio Jack for not work when plugged into a MacBook Pro (no issue when plugged into an iPad) Other than that it works very well. I used it on a regular basis for Ethernet, HDMI, USB. When I use it this way, I really can’t used the PD port to charge a phone and I can’t use the audio jack— it has some limitations. That being said, it works very well for the price.

First time purchasing this particular brand and so far I am pleased with the performance. And, I like the sleek design it goes well with my MacBook Pro.

Great accessory for my iPad Pro 11". Makes it easy to attach external drives and other various items to my iPad. Useful for uploading and transferring photos and files.

Great pickup for newer MacBook Pro laptop owners. Works great for multiple hard drives and wired internet. And it’s much more affordable than anything Apple sells.

This has been a good docking station for peripherals. Nice to be able to hook everything to it and only have to plug in the laptop when it is time to get down to work. Works well with my phone too.

I love the number of ports available, but with just two usb 3.0 ports used, the product gets pretty hot. Would not buy again ..

Appears to generate too much heat. Left connected to my laptop and laptop overheated and shutdown

Some plug in spots do not work and it is not lasting.

HDMI port doesn't work well with MacBook Pro... Video fails entirely unless audio is routed separately through the MacBook speakers or headphone out, and then is jittery.

Good product, can buy for low price in amazon but i got it because Apple is so low that they can include inputs in they products, still charges thousands. Too pricey for what it does
