It might be just my model, but this adapter worked great for 2 weeks then one day it just stopped working. It would register as plugged in and devices would acknowledge it, but Nothing actually happened.

I purchased this to be able to plug in headphones on my ipad pro. It does not work. I have tried to fix this and have noted online that others have had the same problem

Power via USBC doesn’t work right on MacOS. My 2019 Mac book pro doesn’t go to sleep when I’ve a HDMI device plugged in (irregardless if the HDMI device is turned off.)

    Bad Ethernet port

The Ethernet port has some kind of design flaw which prevents inserting the Ethernet cable all the way in until it clicks into place. As a result it’s very easy to bump it out of place, causing a loss in connection. This is a pretty ridiculous problem for this hub to have given its cost, and I’m now going to have to pay for a separate Ethernet-USBC adapter. The hub as a whole also gets surprisingly hot.

Worst product, after three months the HDMI connection flickers and then clicks off after being on for about 30 minutes. This did not develop till two months after purchase.

This purchase was a total waste of money. My computer (Microsoft Surface) would not accept it because it was not powered. That is not what I was told at Best Buy.

Overall good but make a static-squeaky noise when computer's power source is connected to the port. Also gets warm real fast.

Unstable for 4k HDMI - randomly disconnects and recovers 1-2s later. There are far better hubs out there for half the price.

It appears to be good to connect the lan line as I need it for work; however, the connection is not great. If I am online for more than 30 minutes, the device malfunctions and disconnects me from the internet. I literally have to disconnect it and reconnect it to restart. It's my assumption the MG/BYTES/RAM or whatever the computer terminology is isn't strong enough to keep the connection.

Terrible, Gigabit port does not work, and connection is so iffy on a MacBook Pro that if you breathe on it the connection will disconnect. I even tape everything down but still doesn’t make a secure connection. Used it on several TV sets and just had issues. Now it’s too late to return now that I’m back in town

The HDMI port was the only port that worked for me. I tried connecting my USB drives to it, but they did not work(USB and USB-C).

For the price, you would expect #1 great functionality and #2 longevity. I got neither. The HDMI port was picky - often having to plug and unplug. The hub got incredibly hot. And finally, the HDMI port died, one year to the day of its purchase. Won't be buying again. Any recommendations?

USB C is only good for a power pass

It seems to be well-built, but you can't use the USB C input for anything other than to pass power through. Well my Dell is a higher wattage than that power pass through will allow, so it's useless. For $100 there must be something better.
