Every other card reader I have connects to my computer just fine and this lights up when plugged in, but no matter what I do will not read the card. No damage to it, just suddenly stopped working.

USB A is just for the appearance?...

Super Slow 50mb/sec

Using a Thunderbolt port with two 3.1 USB HDD's and was getting transfer write speeds of 50 MB/sec. Ridiculous Super slow usb 2.0 and less speeds. Seriously useless tech with any type of file handling. RETURNED. Products that waste our valuable time should owe us for the inconvenience.

Poor quality and high price

About 6 months after the purchase, we noticed that we were getting alerts about USB peripherals "Not ejecting properly." When I finally started testing to see where the problem was, I discovered that the one of the USB ports was causing the message to appear.

I tried everything to get it to work but it still would not display my brand new monitors to my nearly new laptop. I ended up returning this item for a refund and invested in the Dell Docking Station D3100. It was more in price but now I am happy.

HDMI connection to TV was always poor, required jiggling to get to a proper connection. Then it stopped entirely making a proper connection, showing only distortion. Replaced with a dedicated USB-c to HDMI which works fine.

Stopped working after a month and a half

It no longer lights up or works when plugged in.
