Data transfer rates were not high concerns, so functional it was acceptable. The additional HDMI and SD card reader were bonuses. Good value when combined with my Best Buy discount.

I chose this over some more expensive hubs as I don't need external video.

I have to say purchasing at Best Buy has been my go-to for electronics. 1st their advise in store is excellent! I research reviews on their website before going in and there are typically a large number of reviews with extended details. This product was exactly as described and has worked out great for the new laptop we purchased at Best Buy.
