Best Senior Manager Hub
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I say Senior Manager hub, because this level in the company does not need too many monitors. One 4K quality monitor, a USB A and a couple of USB-Cs are all you need. You would always need your phone too, and this is the star of this set up. The power this hub transmits is enough for an ultrabook at 100W, of course depending on the power source I provided it because it does not come with any. I used to need more wattage for my power machine—but again, when I use to work on my power machine, I needed two monitors, and tons of peripherals, which brings me back to my point—this hub is for the senior managers, the copywriters, and those others who can get by with one monitor. The power is ample, and the refresh rate is for a not-so-demanding monitor. I connected this to my bar set up. A 34 incher, a mouse/keyboard unified dongle, an occasional USB for transfers. The headphone jack is a plus because, Bluetooth. The Magsafe charger does not need aligning for it to effectively charge, and I can easily see my phone screen. The SD card is reliable. The USB ports do not lose connection. This hub does well what it has, and it does not overpromise. Other adults who connect their machines to this hub at our bar set up loves it the same. The design is topnotch too. The cable is flexibly firm and of high quality textured material. The white I would say will perhaps catch dirt and turn gray but the build seems durable to me. I love it a lot. This hub is a pleasant surprise. I recommend.

Useful Combo USB-C Dock + Wireless charger
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HyperDrive Flex USB-C Hub is a pretty compelling choice for a USB-C dock that works well with a single 4K monitor. The design is pretty interesting and versatile. The qi- and magsafe-compatible wireless charger folds up against the dock itself so it doesn't need to take up a bunch of space if you don't want it to. As a result, I can see this HyperDrive Flex being useful as either a travel charger or as a permanent fixture on my desk. #Unboxing and first impressions# The HyperDrive Flex arrived in a pretty standard size box for an accessory of this size. There wasn't a lot of wasted packaging. Most of the packaging is paperboard or cardboard so it was easy to recycle other than the plastic bag for the charger itself. As USB-C hubs go, the Flex came without its own USB-PD charger so it is definitely sold more like a travel hub than a permanent desktop one. It also came with a printed manual, which I do like to see instead of a QR code pointing me to a website. The short "host" USB-C cable is permanently attached, which can be both good or bad I guess. It's short enough (and thick enough) that it isn't troublesome to toss into my bag and worry about it getting tangled, so I think the design works well enough. #Using the HyperDrive Flex# The Flex works pretty well for its intended purpose. Connected to a standard USB-C laptop, it offers 5Gbps USB-C downstream ports, a 4k/60hz HDMI port, and 87W USB PD charging. I especially liked that it includes a 3.5mm headset jack. The full size SD card slot is nice, though I wish it had both SD and microSD slot options which would make this more versatile for the drones and dash cams that I usually need to pull files off of. The wireless charger works whether you connect the USB-C host cable to the female USB-C port on another charger, or if you use the cable for a separate USB-C charger to connect to the power input port on the Flex. So, in a pinch you can have just the "wall wart" charger and the Flex and charge a phone wirelessly. It advertises that it can do 10W wireless charging but I was never able to get my S25 Ultra to register more than 7.5W. I've found this is pretty common for chargers that are advertised as "MagSafe Compatible" with 10W modes, so it wasn't terribly surprising. At 7.5W it is enough to keep my phone topped up at my desk but it's not terribly quick for juicing a dead device up - it takes around 2 hours to get from 40% to 80% on my S25 Ultra. Another bummer with regard to charging is that it doesn't support PPS charging. As a result, it won't charge my phone at the full 25W or 45W that it can use in PPS mode, nor does it supply the flexible PPS voltage that some of my family laptops prefer get the fastest charging times. Still, it does register the 87W needed to fully charge most M1 or M2 macbooks can use, and most other laptops are perfectly fine with 87W of USB PD compatible delivery. It's not enough to give me pause in recommending the Flex, but in my mind a perfect device would support PPS and have 15W qi2 compatible wireless charging. #Final thoughts# I think this is a really great device that works perfectly for a travel charger that I take to the office on my in-office days, and will definitely replace the travel dock that accompanies me on hotel stays. It works well for connecting a single 4K display. I wish it had PPS pass through or qi2 wireless charging (or both) but I guess there's hope for a next generation to give me all 3 things in one box. Until then, this HyperDrive Flex will simplify my desk and that is appreciated.

A Magnetic Marvel for Your Workspace!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HyperDrive Flex MagCharge is a 6-in-1 USB-C hub / mini dock that folds out from a compact base and includes a magnetic/Qi wireless charging pad for phones. Overall, it’s a creative and capable hub with a few trade-offs worth knowing before you buy. PROS: - Wireless Charging + Foldable Stand: This is the standout differentiator. The integrated MagSafe / Qi pad means your phone can sit upright on the hub while charging, which is a clean and elegant touch. For users who like to keep their phone in view while working (e.g. for notifications, calls, or monitoring), this is a nice convenience. - Reasonable Port Expansion in Compact Form: For a relatively small and travel-friendly hub, it delivers a decent set of ports: multiple USB connections, HDMI, card reader, and audio. Many users of ultra-thin laptops or tablets will appreciate not needing to carry multiple dongles. - Full 100W Power Delivery: It supports up to 100 W PD pass-through, which means it can charge many modern laptops while driving peripherals — a must for a usable all-in-one hub. - Solid Video Capability (for Single Display): It can drive a 4K display at 60 Hz (via HDMI) when used as a single monitor setup. That’s a good performance envelope for many users (productivity, media, coding, etc.) CONS: - Only One Display Output (no multi-monitor support): Although the hub supports 4K 60 Hz for a single monitor, you cannot drive multiple displays from it. This is a limitation, especially for users hoping to replace a full docking station. - Port Count & Missing Ethernet/microSD: If you have many devices or need wired networking, this hub may feel limiting. There's no Ethernet port or microSD slot, and the number of USB ports is modest. - Non-Removable Cable: The USB-C cable to the host is permanently fixed. If that cable gets damaged or bent, you have no option to replace it. Some users prefer detachable cables for durability/flexibility. - Wireless Charging Is Only ~7.5W: Because of design constraints, the wireless charge output is limited (~7.5W), which isn’t fast for power-hungry phones. - Potential Heat/Durability Concerns: While not flagrant, compact hubs with many active electronics may run warm. Some users of related Hyper products have observed mild warming across usage scenarios. - Price Versus Alternatives: Given its niche features, the price is justifiable — but for users who don’t care about the magnetic wireless charging, other hubs may offer more ports or better multi-display support for similar or lower cost. I’d rate it around 4/5 for its niche. It’s a smart, stylish hub for a particular kind of workflow. If your needs align with what it offers, it’s a delightful option. If you need full docking station-level features, you’d want something more robust (or with Thunderbolt/USB4 capabilities) instead.

USB hub and power supply in one with some drawback
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Hyper Flex MagCharge USB-C hub works well for for the intended use, but there are a few things that would keep me from buying it again. Physically, the USB hub feels solid and well made. The hard wired USB-C cable is thick yet flexible. There is a non-slip pad on the full bottom of the hub. The arm for the Magsafe charging ring is very firm, and the magnet is strong. Here's one thing that I dislike, when a phone is placed on the magsafe wireless charger, it cannot be removed without holding down the hub itself, and it feel like it takes considerable effort to remove the phone. Good for some uses, but I find it annoying. The device is basically two devices in one, a USB hub and a power supply. If you treat these as two separate things it is easier to understand how everything works. I was hoping for a more "integrated" feel for these two devices. First, as a USB-C hub, the hub allows two USB-C, one USB-A, an SD card, an HDMI connection, and a 3.5mm headphone connection from a single USB-C cable connected to your computer. All of these ports work well and the physical connection is tight and not loose like some cheap USB ports sometimes are. As a charger it also works ok. But if you want to charge anything other than a phone or other smaller devices, you'll need to plug in a power supply to the USB-C PD port, which is not included in the package.

Great Multi-use Device
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent multi-use device. It holds a lot of options in a small package. The first thing I liked was the puck for magnetic charging. Given the mobility, and ability to position, you can set it in many different positions in order to charge your adaptable phone and or devices. While a bit more power would be great, it still provides 7.5w of power to get your devices powered back up. Having both USB and c hub is such a great combination so its one stop charging! I also used this to power my 4k monitor and it did an excellent job. No lag screen flickering etc. While plugged into the MagCharge. Using all Samsung devices in my home c charging goes on non stop and this device is always up to the task. The SD reader also worked flawlessly and is a great added bonus to have. This is a very compact charger so personal preference comes into play but for me it is perfect given my setup. This will absolutely go into my travel bag. Given its compact size and having multiple devices this is an absolute must have! I would absolutely recommend this product.

Compact tech tool for traveling!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HyperDrive Flex MagCharge is a compact tool that does so much. At first glance it just looks like a mag phone charger that doesn't come with an power supply. But...it actually does so much more. This little gadget has: 2 USB-C ports 1 USB-C with 100W power delivery 1 HDMI port (4K60Hz) 1 SD card slot reader (104Mbps) 1 USB A port 3.5 mm Audio Jack The 7.5 MagSafe compatable charger isn't super fast - but it is a bonus to have that with all of these other fun tech toys. This is a great tool to transfer photos or files from your SD card to your computer. The main downfall of the Hyper Drive Flex is that it lacks a power supply and the USB-C that it comes with is very short. I wanted to use this as a phone charger on a short trip that I took this weekend because I forgot my phone charger. It was great that I had it as a backup - but I had to plug it in to the computer and then keep it so close to the laptop that I wasn't able to use use it at all while it was charging. And as I mentioned before - it's not a super fast charger. None, the less, it did get me out of a jam!

So convenient near my laptop!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review for Hyper - HyperDrive Flex MagCharge 5 Port USB-C Hub - Blue I’ve bought my share of docks for my computers over the years, but this HyperDrive Flex MagCharge 5 Port USB-C Hub from Hyper is definitely the most efficient and functional. I wanted a way to connect peripherals easily. This unit lets me connect two USB-C devices, one USB-A and headphones (yes, mine still have wires — I wear them all the time when I’m working at the computer and can’t be hassled with recharging wireless ones!) I can also use it for external speakers. On the back, I have a USB-C 100 watt PD passthrough outlet for charging devices and an HDMI port for an external monitor, allowing me to add a second monitor to my laptop. Best of all, is the very adjustable QI charger for my iPhone. I can leave it flat and just lay my phone on it, or pull it up so it’s easy to see my phone’s display. I really like how compact this dock is. I’ve owned a few that are easily three to four times this size — sometimes with fewer features. The blue and white design is both classy and timeless. It looks great as part of my desktop setup.
