Accessories neeed

I know it defeats the purpose of a lap top, but it is hard for me to just use the laptop keyboard.

Worked great for a month

But lately it's not charging my laptop - it shows that it's connected but doesn't charge the MacBook. Tried everything and new charging cable so now if I want to charge I need to take the hub dock off - its super annoying and was pricey for it to stop charging in just a month!

Didn’t work for displayed monitor

Was not powerful enough to power external monitor on my MacBook air. Outside of window to return. Will be selling on eBay

Failed after 2 months of use

All you need is a short mini USB to regular USB cable. I don't know why Apple went to the mini USB cable. This particular product hangs off the laptop which results in the cables flexing constantly as you use the laptop. Mine ended up with a shorted out cable within a month. There are also reports that charging the laptop through this device will damage the laptop.

Now, I must spend more money to find a better replacement. Disappointing considering the price point!
