This magic ball really helps me
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the Hypernice Hypersphere Mini massager is actually pretty cool. Imagine a ball (around the size of a baseball) that vibrates as hard a large handheld massager. That is basically what you have here. There are three separate levels of vibration and each one is harder than the next. I have to say it really hits hard. To the point that if you put it on the floor it will dance around and if it was not rubberized you would think it was a jack hammer. As I mentioned, the outside of it is rubber, and it is a soft smooth surface. This is actually pretty smart, and I say that because when you use it the ball will not slip around on you. For me, I have issues with my feet. So I can put it on the ground and roll it around where I need it to hit, and it vibrates DEEP into my foot. Better than the handheld (more expensive) massager we have at the house. My wife uses it on her back. Again, it does not slip around and you can lay on it to focus the vibration deep into those trigger areas that really hurt. It really gets things loose. The LED lights tell you exactly how much battery you have left, as well as what setting you are on. It says the battery lasts two hours, but I have not used it to the full length of the battery yet. Th charging port is closed off with a rubber tab, so you pull that out to put the charging head in for a charge. I think this helps so sweat will not get into it. If I am wrong, then maybe it has a double function. The charging cord that comes with it has plenty of length, and it actually has a stand for the ball so it will not roll around on the floor our counter. Not only do I think this is good for the average person, it would be great for an athlete or even chiropractor’s practice. It feels and works like a professional grade piece of equipment, and it is small enough to take with you if you want to travel with it. I highly recommend it, and I love it.

Posted .Hey there. We are so sorry to hear about your experience with our Hypersphere mini! Vibration therapy consists of repeated rapid oscillations of localized pressure into the body’s muscle and connective tissues. Lower speeds are useful for muscle relaxation and recovery while high speed is more ideal for muscle activation and performance. Muscles involuntarily relax and contract, promoting the body’s recovery from aches and pains, and helping enhance range of motion, pain tolerance, and muscle performance. High Tech / High Performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the geek in me came out the moment I opened this up.... every time I see it or use it, reminds me of Guardians of the Galaxy :). ANYWAY... A great massaging device. It is about the size of a 12-14" softball, and has some WEIGHT to it. This isn't just a dainty plastic ball. Comes with a curved base to hold it on the countertop or dresser, while not in use. Very handy. Three powerful vibration levels, if you get to the high level... you are really buzzing and moving... I use basically the first and second level... rarely the third. While you think you can use this by hand (holding it in place), it is best to use this with another pressure mechanism... such as a sofa, foot rest, or bed. As it is a full 360 vibration, so while it works awesome in the target area, your hand gets a good shakeup too. The surface is durable, but semi-soft smooth rubber. Not harsh on the skin. The ridges give some texture to hold on to it with. I have used it for 20-30 minute increments, and haven't run out of power during a session. I have found it best on the back side of my thigh and cafe, it works the best. I was also able to position it easily against a pillow, and get in on my shoulder's as well. The moderate downside: The include charging cable is very short. not very good for most charging scenarios in a bedroom or work out area. You will need to purchase a longer cord, if you don't have one. It is not a custom connect so readily available. I am interested to see on my next Trip what TSA may think about it.. :) Good device, a pretty good one in this category

Yup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been testing this little ball of pleasure out for about a week now. Fist, impression was it looks like the death star so definite plus there. The next was how heavy and well-built it feels. I have used the ball all over and it has become a part of my nightly relaxation processes, like a fine scotch. I enjoy putting it on my lower lumbar, but I love sitting in my chair and just rocking my feet back and forth over it *Highly Recommend*. There are 3 setting low, medium, and rattle your bones. The charge lasts a good bit and charges quickly. I am quite pleased and you will be too!

Great Travel Companion
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the box is the massager, a charging cord and a disc to hold the massager. Keep in mind that when opening the box, it is best to charge the massager. When attempting to turn on out of the box, there were no lights illuminating. Now that I have actually used the product, I may have not held the power button down long enough. So, yes, hold down the power button until you see lights, preferably a red and green lights. I have really small hands but the massager fit comfortably. I pressed the button again after I turned it on and one blue light comes on. Let me just say that this thing is powerful at the first level. Level 2 and 3 were hard for me to hold but once I placed where I wanted it to go, it felt great! I have been having some recently with my leg and back; pain at home and at work, and this product has been working to get out the kinks. I am able to take it with me everywhere I go because it is lightweight and small and fits in my daily travel bag. Battery life is exceptional. I have been using off and on for a whole week and I still haven’t had to charge it yet. I will probably charge after day 7, just so that I know that it is fully charged for another full week. I can’t really find a negative for this product. I love rolling the ball up and down my body and I highly recommend that you don’t use while driving. :) I would definitely recommend this to friends and family and I would definitely purchase again!

Pleasantly Surprised
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this up. It was a lot heavier than I thought it would be. That is a good thing. It is not too heavy. It seems to be the perfect balance of weight to be able to hold it and apply pressure to the muscles and not feel like it is going to break. The outside has a good rubberized coating. It does not hurt or grab my skin yet it lets me grip it and not feel like I am going to drop it. It has three levels. The first is pretty calm. I like the middle for most of my use. The third setting is quite strong. I cannot hold it for long at this setting. I need to put it on a surface like a foot stool or couch when using this level. I actually would recommend putting it on a surface and the testing your leg or foot over it. I use it primary for my legs and feet after a jog (or a long day at work). I like that it has a small stand to rest on when not in use. It will auto shut off after 10 min of use. But that is okay it is easy to turn on again and I like to use it that way as a timer so I know how long I have bee using it in a specific location.

Mini but could be smaller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When you first open the mini box you're greeted with the mini massage ball, the instruction booklet, and the micro-USB cord. As instructed, I charged the device for 2 hours before I tried the device. First impressions out of the box: It's cute but powerful. Being familiar with the Hyperice family (heard of them before and read great reviews) - I already knew that I was going to be given something with a lot of power. So when I first received the hypersphere mini I wasn't surprised that this little guy packed a punch. It's a compact, portable, mini vibrating therapy ball as advertised as. As powerful as the device it, the reason why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons: - Turning on/off the device isn't intuitive: You'd have to press the on button for 3 seconds before the device is on, then press it again to have the device vibrate at level 1 (which is pretty strong). It isn't a huge problem, but as a user I'd assume that by turning it on the device would've started to vibrate immediately. Then to turn off the device, you have to go through all 3 levels before you can turn it off. I nearly dropped it when going to the highest level. Would have liked it more if you could hold the button for the same 3 seconds to turn off the device. - For my upper and lower back, the device worked well but I was hoping to use it for plantar fasciitis which I was a little disappointed in. I was unluckily enough to be born with flat feet and living in NYC, walking is the main mode of transportation. At the end of the day, if my feet are killing me I usually use a tennis ball or a racket ball and roll it underneath my foot which usually helps relieve some of the pain. As much as I amazed by the mini vibrating ball, it was still too big to roll with my foot, especially around the arch. Overall, the product is great for travel and for the knots I had on my shoulders but could have been smaller to target my plantar fasciitis.

Portable relief
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I suffer from tension headaches from a pinched nerve and have had to deal with it for over 20 yrs. (car accident) I've tried dozens of massagers and some were great, others not so well. The Hypersphere falls in the freaking great category! This little baby shakes like it's no one's business and brings it right where you need it. Most stick type massagers just don't work for me because I can't get enough pressure to get it deep into my neck where I need it. With the Hypersphere I just lay it on the floor or wall and let it do its deed. I usually good enough well before the power cycles off (it turns off on its own after 10 or so minutes - don't have the manual handy right now). Also massaging on the neck really messes my eyesight and balance if I do it for too long. Plus side is that since it's a ball and sturdy as heck I can keep rolling for relief if my head can't take any more vibes. The Hypersphere mini is small enough that I toss it in my go bag along with my various computer tools so when I need a quick massage it's ready to go. Some days the pain gets so bad I have to take 10-12 ibuprofen at a time. The mini will help me keep my liver from degrading any more, lol. It's great for the lower back, chest, arms, legs... pretty much anything. The only downside is that you really shouldn't hold it while massaging and have it against a hard surface. If you ever held a weedeater for too long you know that your grip will be shot for a few hours/days. This does the same thing so be careful about holding it too long. I'm hoping it lasts a good while and I won't hesitate to grab another when it dies. Because they're design to vibrate hard there's a lot of wear and tear going on. If I can get a year or two out of it it'll be worth it for my headache and back.

Pleasantly surprised!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first looked at this little device I immediately thought, Star Wars. But this unit packs quite a punch. It just so happened that I was having some back pain so while at my office I put this in my chair and wow was I ever surprised. Turn it on and it has three power settings. I've used low on my back and high on my thighs and the results are beyond what I was expecting. It is convenient to take with you and charges quickly. I have yet to run out of a charge and I have done multiple 10 minute sessions. If you have the occasional sore or tired muscles this is an easy and convenient way to get things back to normal.

May the Hypersphere Be With You? Perhaps Not.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first glance the thing reminds me of a mini Deathstar. Which means it’s kinda cute, and will look good on your desk, bedside table, workout bench, wherever you might be wanting to display and use this device. Basic Info and Features: The Hyperice Hypersphere Mini Vibrating Massage Ball IS NOT a toy, however. It is compact, portable, an unassuming piece of personal tech. Ideal for using pre- or post- workout, both on the go, when traveling, or simply at home. Also beneficial after long days at work, to ease tired, sore, and aching muscles. Considered to be a type of therapy ball, with it’s smaller size and easy to grip rubberized matte surface, you can place the Hypersphere directly where it hurts. As far as battery life goes, the rechargeable battery gives you up to 2 hours of use on its highest 3-speed vibration setting, and longer if you choose to use the lower power settings. Included with the massage ball is a micro-USB charging cord, and instruction booklet. Review the cautions and health warning before using. They are important. Now for my take on it: With all that being said, my overall experience trying the Hyperice Hypersphere Mini Vibrating Massage Ball, was not at all favorable, and wasn’t what I would have hoped. I really wanted to like it, I really did. I’d never used one before, and yet, now that I’m back into exercising, I thought this kind of supportive health technology might be of benefit to me. However, just holding it in my hand on the lowest power setting, was uncomfortable. The vibration was much too strong for my liking. Using the massage ball on my achy muscle areas was unpleasant, simply because of the effect the vibrations were having on me. So much so, I found myself not wanting to continue using the device. Although I did turn the Hypersphere up to its two other higher power settings, just to see what they felt like in my hand, I did not use the massage ball on my body again. Please note: this is simply my experience. What bothered me, might not bother you. But the vibration is STRONG, you WILL feel it. And I would have VERY serious reservations about recommending this device to an elderly person. If this type of personal health tech is something you’ve been looking for, I can assure you the Hyperice Hypersphere is a well-made product. It just wasn’t going to work for me. But for healthy non-elderly people who travel a lot, whose body might feel the strain of long periods of sitting, sleeping on unfamiliar beds, being cramped in an airplane seat, or for people whose job creates a lot of stress or tension in their body, which can affect your health in all manner of ways, this massage ball might have the potential to be what you need. As always, bear in mind that if you have a particular health condition, verifying with your doctor whether or not you should use this device, would most definitely be highly advisable.

IT band and Calves roller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn’t think much of this product when I first came across it. I didn’t think much about the product when I first started using it. There was nothing special about it, and it is similar in size as a tennis ball or lacrosse ball. However, the massage function has assisted with IT band rolling and loosening my tight calves. I find the medium vibrating function helps greatly loosen up my calves while the strong vibrating function is required for my IT band. These two areas are troublesome for me and sometimes require localized pressure instead of rolling. Combine localized pressure and vigorous vibration and you have a winning combination.
