My other hypervolt went out after a year and this wouldve been an equivilent. I have been charging it for 5+ hours, still on red. Im going to go on a whim here, and discontinue with them and move over to a different brand.

Right out of the box the item did not work. Best Buy refunded the original sale price, then wanted me to pay the higher price to repurchase it, rather than giving me a replacement for a defective item.

Who doesn’t like a good massage? And for those who have an active lifestyle or an exercise regimen, a percussion massage device like the Hypervolt 2 can be the perfect compliment. Hyperice packages the Hypervolt very well, giving you a feeling of assurance with regard to the quality of the device. Strong and form-fitting, the box can almost serve as a case for the device. The Hypervolt 2 is well built with a quality feel to it. It’s mostly plastic, but has a very tight, solid feel when held. Considering its purpose, it is lightweight, but it feels substantial as well. It’s just well-constructed with the look and feel of a quality product. The Hypervolt 2 comes with a charger, a few attachments, and a small attachment case. You will need to charge the device prior to using. Using the Hypervolt 2 is very simple. It has a single button that serves as the power toggle and mode selection. The attachments can be removed and installed with a simple pull/push and twist. The attachments have a rubber grommet and seal helping to ensure a nice, snug fit. You may find it difficult to remove an attachment if you expect to do so using just force. It will take force along with a bit of twisting. How does it perform? In a word, wonderfully. Provides relief in tightness, soreness, tension, etc. nearly instantly. In using the Hypervolt 2, I found that most of my massage needs could be met selecting the lowest speed. When using the device on different parts of the body, the attachments are more than necessary. They are purposely designed, and I found changing them to be necessity. The Hypervolt 2 has good battery life. I also didn’t tire using it for slightly longer periods. I highly recommend the Hypervolt 2. Hyperice has done an excellent job on build, performance, and results.

Really disappointing. My product never turned on, and since I work a lot outside the country I couldn't change it on time and in the store they were of no use to me to solve it.

Like others have said… it just won’t turn on. Brand new, out of the box, I did everything the directions said to do and it wouldn’t turn on (fully charged with a green light). The app was horrible as well. Not exchanging, but returning for a brand that actually works when new.

Super quality. Solid feel and when running, the unit is smooth and powerful at all speeds. Charging was simple and blinking green light becomes solid green when fully charged. The selection of massage heads covers all your muscles. I tried them all and was able to hit sore areas like shoulders and calf muscles for me. Changing the heads is easy, however you do need to use a little more force than you might initially think to remove a head. But pulling the head straight out will work fine. After I mowed the lawn I had been getting cramps in my calf muscle and using this massager for 5 minutes on each calf after I mow has eliminated the cramps that usually came later when I went to bed. I just used the low power setting for this remedy. You should note to turn it on you need to hold the power button down for a few seconds. This is a good feature to prevent accidentally powering the unit up. Each touch will then increase the power level. Also you can turn the unit off from any power setting directly by simply holding down the power button. The design of this product was very well thought out by the engineers from cordless ability, physical shape, quality parts, variety of heads and smooth motor. Tip of the cap to the engineers and market analysts. The skin of the device is very soft and just exactly what you want with a massage device. This is not a low-end price-point device, but it is worth every penny. I highly recommend this product.

Similar to other brands, not really worth the premium price

The Hyperice - Hypervolt 2 comes with a wall charger, 5 different head attachments and a pouch to keep your attachments organized. At just under 2lbs its easy to take with you wherever you go. The Hyperice App will link with the Hyperice - Hypervolt 2 Percussion Massage Device to give you more precise control on intensity (with 3 different speeds of percussion) and helps to guide you with routines to keep you in the best shape possible. Warmup and recovery time can be improved as well as taking care of any knots, muscle fatigue etc in a compact device that is used by many pro athletes to get that slight advantage. I found that Level 1 works best for my neck and upper extremities, Level 2 more for calves and arms and Level 3 at over 3,000 percussions per minute is good for hips, glutes etc You get roughly 3 hrs of use from the Hyperice - Hypervolt 2 on a single charge which is more than adequate for my needs. If you need a compact, light and portable Percussion Massager, I definitely recommend the Hyperice - Hypervolt 2.

Battery never charged out the box. Was extremely disappointed it didn’t work out the box. Got the other version of this same brand and it worked so it made up for it

Not as powerful as my Hypervolt 1. It's still decent though.

I purchased my first one 8 months ago and it never charged. Returned it and gbe second one lasted 8 months. Bought another less than a week ago and now it won’t charge. Junk

I really like it. It’s light and comfortable to hold and easy to reach spots like the back and shoulder blades. It doesn’t vibrate too much nor does it get hot. There’s three speeds, and it is strong enough to loosen tight muscles. I mostly use it on my shoulders after being on the computer all day and it can relieve the tight knots quickly. It stays mostly quiet during use. The person next to you will definitely take notice, but it’s not unreasonably loud. It comes with 5 different attachment heads, round, flat, pointed, soft, and forked. Each does feel different on different muscles. The charge indicator ring at the bottom is a nice touch. It transitions from green to red during use. The battery life is good, depending on the use. I use it for quick 10-20 minute sessions at the highest speed and was able to do about 5 sessions before needing to charge. The app has some guided videos to show how to use it for different needs, like after workout or for desk work relief. At the time, it didn't have this specific model, but should be the same.
