    Received a non working item

I received my item charged it for 4 hours per instructions all for it not to power on and work. My disappointment was unbelievable. I then had to drive to the store that was 30 minutes from my home and wait over 45 minutes for assistance as they told me I need to go to the GeeK Squad. I asked for the manager but he told me he would come back and was stuck with another customer. This is NOT the Best Buy Total Membership experience I was looking for or product experience. Unfortunately my body is in pain and I simply want a product that works that is not defective that I can use. After finally getting service the management and geek squad were very polite. It just was very disappointing that the product did not work and I was in a lot of pain.

    Solid upgrade

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The true successor to the Hypervolt line features Bluetooth as well as a near completely overhauled design. The new device is about a half an inch taller but an inch less wide. It still sports a high quality feeling soft touch coating. The handle is now pill shaped with grooves for grip compared to the smooth round handle from before. It’s still detachable from the body of the unit for on the fly switching. The site lists the previous model as heavier but I weighed the new one at 2.7lb and the old at 2.6lb. Build quality is excellent, this isn’t your typical Costco percussive massager. It doesn’t flex, creak or rattle. When it comes to loudness, the new model is slightly quieter and sounds smoother throughout the power range, but I wouldn’t say it’s a huge difference. There are now 5 power settings are controlled by a dial now vs 3 still coming from a 90w brushless motor. Stroke length seems pretty similar but I haven’t measured; 13mm vs probably 14-15. The pressure sensor is back, which might be a minor detail, but I think is one of the coolest things they do. The battery was 2400mAh for 2.5+ hours of use, now it’s rated to 3 hours but there’s no mention of size besides it’s physical change. I’m going to assume it’s bigger but not by much, or if anything they just made the device more efficient. In the box you still get a variety of heads - flat, fingertip, mushroom, ball and U shaped. The charge also looks a lot nicer and still comes with travel plugs. Still TSA approved too! Unfortunately still no case for the unit, which I think is a huge miss for a $400 massager; though you do get a case for the heads. I haven’t got to use it much yet but it seems like a nice upgrade, but probably not a must have if you’ve already got the Plus from before($329 now). Maybe if you were looking to upgrade from the normal model to this, it would be more worth it. Hypervolts have become my favorite massagers because they’re compact, quiet AND powerful. Yes, there is a difference between cheap and expensive guns. If you’re okay with the cheaper one, great, but not all are made equal.

    Best Massaging Device - EVER!

I have owned a couple of massage wands in the past but they were corded and portable, so not very convenient. I've been looking for a cordless alternative and was so pleased to find Hyperice's Hypervolt 2 Pro. Hyperice offers various models but Hypervolt 2 Pro is a premium model that is intended for athletic people - I'm not one of them but my husband and I have chronic back pains, so we needed something robust. This one definitely fits the bill! We have been using it for a little over week now and can definitely tell this massage gun is not an ordinary massage device. It significantly reduces the pain and unties the kinks - we experienced a relief right away. The device is weighty at 2.6 lbs., so it took me a little of getting used to holding it in a right position comfortably. I tried all five different attachments and liked the cushion one the best. Make sure you don't get your fingers caught between the attachment and the device while its in operation. My husband accidentally did this - no serious injury but he was in agonizing pain for a couple of minutes. Although there are five different speeds, the lowest one is plenty powerful enough for me but it's nice to have that flexibility to go up higher as needed. If anyone is not completely sold on this, I saw some Hyperice's massage guns in the dugout during the recent World Series, so that may say something notable about this product. My husband and I are very pleased with Hypervolt 2 Pro. This will make a very nice gift for yourself and/or your loved ones. Highly recommended!

As a Spa Service Expert and with my wife being a Massage Therapist, we’ve had the chance to work with and test multiple Hypervolt devices over time—and this one truly stands out. The power is consistent and deep without being overly aggressive, which makes it perfect for both professional use and personal recovery. What impressed us the most is how quiet it is compared to other models we’ve tried, making it ideal for a spa environment where ambiance matters. The ergonomic design also makes a big difference during longer sessions. It feels balanced in hand and allows for precise work on different muscle groups without fatigue. Battery life has been reliable, and the different speed settings provide great versatility depending on the client’s needs. We’ve used it both on ourselves after long shifts and in a professional setting, and it delivers every time. Definitely a worthwhile investment if you care about quality recovery tools.

Having owned Hyperice’s Hypervolt GO for a few months now, Im a big fan of their products. Hyperice in my opinion is one of the top two makers of these percussion massage devices, and as for the Hypervolt 2 Pro is concerned, it is definitely a quality product, about 50% bigger and 50% heavier than the “GO” I would recommend the Hypervolt 2 Pro to advanced athletes, and the GO to more casual people. When you first take it out of the box, make sure you charge it first thing, as it only had about a 2% charge. Once fully charged turning it on and getting started is really easy. There are five different speed levels, choose the speed you want by turning the dial. One full charge will last approximately three hours, really easy to use, and a very well-made and designed device. Comes with 5 different attachments for different parts of the body. I recommend it!

THE BREAKDOWN: This HyperVolt 2 Pro hits all the marks! If you have ever been in a market for a device like this then wait no more! This device is high quality, solid built beautiful piece of equipment. In the box is the massage gun itself, charging cord with 4 interchangeable plus for international use, 5 interchangeable message tips/heads (which has a nice carrying case for them) and an information packet that includes some instructional/informational cards. The packaging was even well done and gives you a sense of owning something top shelf. The box itself actually opens if you stand it on its ends which for closet storage makes perfect sense. After a quick first trial use of the device, I plugged it in to give it a full charge. It took about 45 min to charge fully from the factory and the 5 minutes of initial experimentation. According to the manufacturer the device will last approximately 3 hours on a charge. I have used this device for about 2 hours and 45 min, and it still shows no signs of running out of battery life. The controls are very simple and easy to use. They look and work like a high-end product. One the bottom is the power plug and the on/off switch. The on/off switch actually has a red and green color to it which I found nice. One the bottom of the handle there is a LED light band that goes all the way around the handle and lights up depending on the charge level. On the back there is a round wheel that you can turn clockwise or counter-clock-wise. The speed level goes from 1 to 5 and they also have a LED to indicate which level you are on. There are 5 different head options to choose from. They are super easy to swap out. To swap it out you just give a gentle pull on the head and it comes right out. Then you choose the one you want to use and give a quick push back in. Overall, very easy to remove and replace. There is also a Bluetooth function with this device. You have to download the app then connect the device. It was very simple and easy. The app which gives a ton of video guides. PRO’s: -Very stylish in appearance - 5 speeds - 3-hour battery life - 5 removeable interchangeable heads CON’s: -I wish it had a carry bag for the while thing SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they are in the market for device like this.

    Power+Quality+Flexibility over budget alternatives

This is our second percussion therapy device. We started out getting one of those popular, well-reviewed "budget" models with a bazillion attachments because we honestly didn't know how much we would like it, or how effective it would be. In general, we liked what we saw, but there were some things about the budget version that just felt a little "off"--build quality was suspect in some areas (the battery pack never did sit firmly in the housing) and some of the attachments were foam that started to gather fuzz and fabric debris and even break down a bit after moderate use. So we upped our game a with the Hypervolt 2 Pro, and though it might seem like there is a little less to love, the overall therapy experience with the Hypervolt 2 Pro was FAR more compelling and effective. Let's start with the obvious--lay out all the swag you get with a competitor's model and you'll see that the Hypervolt 2 Pro doesn't seem to offer much--just 5 massage heads/tips and a small carrying case for them; the case isn't even large enough to house the AC adapter or the interchangeable travel plug adapters! There is no carrying case or even a simple storage pouch for the main unit as well...that feels like a missed opportunity given the price point for this model. Flip it over and check out the controls--a single speed dial on the Hypervolt 2 Pro with only 5 speed settings/LED speed markers and one BT LED display versus 30 intensity settings on fancy numerical LCD display on the competitor's model...what's going on here? But once we put the Hyperice model into use, we changed our tune. If you need POWERFUL deep-tissue and muscle massage action, the Hypervolt 2 Pro simply offers MORE...more power and a deeper stroke/percussion action that runs circles around the budget alternative from the lowest setting all the way up to the highest. Sure, there are only 5 speed options to pick from here; but frankly, the 30 speed options on the competitor's model ultimately felt unnecessary as the qualitative difference of a 24 versus a 27 speed setting were essentially meaningless on the skin, especially if you still needed a better, more effective massage in the long run (who doesn't?). The Hypervolt 2 Pro is also a VERY high-quality feeling product; fit and finish are outstanding and provide you some assurance that you're getting a more durable and well-engineered product for your money. The 3-hour battery pack is removable for separate storage or charging away from the main unit I suppose; but more importantly, a removable battery pack means your entire massage gun isn't scrap once the battery stops holding a charge as you can ostensibly purchase a new battery pack (or at least have a second on tap for longer therapy sessions or more days between charges). The light-up ring around the bottom of the battery pack/handle changes color to indicate charge/battery level and makes it perfectly clear when the unit is accidentally left on or needs a bit more juice to keep going. Okay, but what about the attachments? As I indicated earlier, some of the numerous attachments on the budget model are foam rather than rubber or plastic and have already started to break down or pill up with material from t-shirts and shorts; the Hypervolt 2 Pro's attachments are all high quality rubber or rubberized material and certainly feel like they will stand up to a lot more punishment and repeated cleaning over time. As for the low number of attachments, frankly, it's a lot easier to remember which attachment is for what body part when there is only a handful to keep track of, and when we used the budget model, we typically only reached for one or two attachment heads anyway. But if you're really concerned about not having that ONE special wedge-shaped, spiky, or ball-headed attachment, you might just consider getting an extra set of attachments online; then you'll get the benefits of a MUCH better massage gun with all the attachments you might want or need (for the record, all the attachments in our budget do-it-all package fit the Hypervolt 2 Pro just fine). The Hypervolt 2 Pro then goes things a bit better--it's a "somewhat" smart device with Bluetooth capability. No, you can't use Alexa to start a massage routine or program therapy session duration from the unit itself (there's only a power switch on the bottom and a rotary speed dial on the back, after all), but with the Hyperice app and a BT connection to your phone, you can run automated programs of varying times and intensities all while a helpful video shows you exactly what head to use, where to hold the massage gun, and how to get optimal results with hand movements and massage tip/head-angles during the entire routine. At first I was a little skeptical about the BT speed control and app, but being able to adjust the speed settings from my phone one-handed meant I didn't have to remove the massage gun from my skin mid-session to adjust the speed setting; this was a godsend when I had the gun's angle and pressure JUST right but wanted to get a bit more intensity going. The app itself gives you a little body graphic to choose various muscle groups for routine selection; not every muscle group has routines for the picking just yet, but most do, and the thought of not having to figure out the best combination of tips, angles, timing, speed settings, and muscle group coverage is really quite appealing and effective in practice. Overall, we were more than pleasantly surprised at how much we liked the Hypervolt 2 Pro's performance and capabilities, even if it seems on the surface like this unit might offer fewer options than the competition can swing at a lower price point. But in this case, I heartily concur that you get what you pay for--the quality of the unit, the increased power, speed, and percussive stroke, as well as the integrated BT app and speed control ultimately make for much more effective, flexible, and enjoyable massage therapy than what a cut-rate competitor can muster; DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED if you want the best and most therapeutic percussion massage treatment you can get your hands on!

High Quality Massage / Recovery Tool

First impressions, this is a HIGH QUALITY device. The overall feel, build and tight tolerances are top-shelf. From opening the package to being in use was less than two minutes, even on factory charge. Fired it up and was on the way... Now, let's see what this really about: What's inside the box: * Massager * Charger (includes 4 total changeable plugs for International use) * Five interchangeable heads * Case for heads * Information packet with quick start and user cards The packaging and packing had a high quality and thoughtful feel. All too often, some manufacturers get "too cute by half" in packaging and in so doing, can cause some frustrations in opening and unboxing. This was clean, simple and quick but still everything was was perfectly tight and well protected. Well done, Hyperice. Important and relevant note regarding the packaging: The main body of the package has a lower half and an upper half. The lower half is perfect for easy storage/stowage, and can be easily left in a bathroom cabinet or closet so everything can be easily stored together. And if you need to transport it (more on that later) you can easily slip on the top cover and everything is protected and sure not to be lost if you take it from home to gym or in my case, the Fire Station where the wife works. Very cool and thoughtful. As mentioned, the unit was charged enough to do some basic experimenting but plugging it in, it was fully charged in less than 30 minutes. Manufacturer specs state that average use of battery is 3 hours. The controls are simple, intuitive, attractive and very professional in feel. There is an on/off button (color coded red/green) on bottom and a handsome green LED (pictured) to indicate it is powered on. The speed control is a continuous "wheel" on the back that has 6 different positions: * Standby with a blue LED * Speed control 1-5 (1 at 9 o'clock, 5 at12 o'clock) with white LEDS The continuous wheel can be rotated clock-wise and counter-clockwise to advance/reverse current position. Simple, clean, intuitive and attractive. The device is Bluetooth enabled but requires the app. Downloaded the app, searched for BT devices (with unit powered on but not in use) and paired in seconds. Once it's paired, you have countless options for video guides that include automated speed control. Very cool. As mentioned, there are 5 different heads. Swapping them out is incredibly simple. Give a solid tug to remove current head, and give a solid push to install the new. The massage heads are easily stored in a perfectly sized nylon zipper pack. This is truly an impressive device. I have used cheaper off-brand units before and this is by orders of magnitude, above and beyond any previous experiences I have had. My only concern (and it is NO FAULT of this device) is that my wife is a Lieutenant at a major Denver Metro area fire department and I am pretty sure this will quickly become a part of her gear bag as her and her crew work out HARD while on duty. I stress, this is not a defect of the product but indeed an excellent professional endorsement. End of the day this is an impressive and powerful quality tool. If you have a need, this is a great choice. I would (and HAVE) enthusiastically recommend to friend. Impressive.

Quick Review ------------------ Hypervolt 2 Pro is the by far the best percussion massager I have used to date for the price. It's light weight, elegant, comes with a variety of heads and has a long battery life and the battery is detachable. This also has Bluetooth to connect to an app which is intuitive. Overall a great buy What's in the box ------------------------ Hypervolt 2 Pro Power supply + adapters (for international travel) Head attachments (5) Head attachment pouch Pros ------ 1. Excellent battery life 2. Light weight and easy to hold. 3. The LED ring indicates battery power. 4. Includes adapters for international travel. 5. Priced well. 6. Simple to use - has dial for speed Cons ------- 1. None yet Full Review --------------- Setup is really only needed if you are using the app. First, download the app from the Appstore and then turn on the device, hit scan for devices and then it quickly connects to the device. Everything is smooth. The routines are also pretty cool on the app, all you just need is to follow the directions as seen on the video and set the speed to auto and it automatically sets the intensity. The app has different routines like quads, hamstring, gluts etc. with a fully guided video and automated intensity which I really liked. If you randomly want to use in on your body, you do not need the app. You can turn on the massager and set it to your required intensity using the dial and use it. The LED at the bottom turns red when the battery is low this way you can know when to charge. Overall I think this is a great percussion massager for the price!!

I’m a huge fan of these massagers for both after workout activities as well general muscle pains. I have some lower leg pains every once in awhile and this massager works great for relieving pain and stiffness. I’ve been using a Theragun however this Hyperice massager works really nice compared to my older massage gun. The Hyperice massager works great compared to the Theragun. In terms of feel, I think the Theragun wins here. While it’s a weird looking shape, it feels a bit better in the hand. Especially when trying to use the massager on your back, the Theragun design seems to workout better in that sense. Overall though, the Hyperice feels great in the hand too. The grip on it is smooth and provides ample stability when using it. Probably the biggest improvement here is the noise. The Theragun sounds like an old motor clacking away. Decibel-wise, the Theragun is around 80 decibels. The Hyperice, is significantly quieter at around 60-70 decibels. The motor in the Hyperice seems to run a lot smoother compared to the Theragun. It does get a little jittery when you use it on max settings but I usually use it on the 1 or 2 setting so it’s really not an issue for me. The Hyperice comes with the AC adapter, 5 massage heads along with a small case to carry them in, as well as international charging plugs which is nice. I really wish the Hyperice came with a carrying case like the Theragun does. I almost would’ve preferred a case over the plugs but that’s my opinion. The Hyperice is rechargeable but the Theragun came with 2 batteries and a charger which worked better for me. It was nice to have a spare battery on hand to quickly resume use whereas, with the Hyperice, you have to wait until it’s charged before using it. For now though, I’ll use the Theragun until it ceases working. But this Hyperice is a really nice upgrade to it It’s lacking a carrying case and battery options but the performance of this, I think, it far superior to the Theragun. It simply works just as good, if not better, and is MUCH quieter than the Theragun which is a huge bonus IMO.

Let’s keep it real about the Hypervolt 2 massage gun. Ive owned two theraguns prior to purchasing this. • Quiet Operator: This thing is like a ninja. Seriously, it won’t disturb your vibe while you’re watching your favorite shows or cooking up a storm. • Built to Last: I dig products that feel solid, and the Hypervolt 2 nails it. No flimsy stuff here; it’s built for the long haul. • Performance Pro: When those muscles need some love, this bad boy delivers. You can tweak the speed and attachments for a customized muscle-soothing experience. In a nutshell, the Hypervolt 2 is your trusty sidekick for quiet, muscle-reviving massages. It’s a keeper, no doubt!

Works great! I've had some cheaper versions in the past-- All of them having broke within 1 year of normal use. This machine feels like it gives a deeper massage & helps relieve sore and tight muscles. Working on my feet all day this has become a "must have" for me personally. I also feel great relief that I get an extended warranty as well with my Total Plus membership. A bit pricy but worth the investment.

This is a very good Massager, With a nice feel and Premium Build/look. It Comes very well packed and very ease to use, it may be a little hefty for some and can be difficult to use on your back by yourself. It is powerful an can push down to get deep to get muscle relief. It could be to powerful for some that don't really have muscles/small builds or elderly, which may cause bruising on fragile skin. The App isnt very good i would say, but it can be informational for things to do with your Massager or what tips to use for different areas. I only give 4 do to price is pretty high for what it does, So i would wait for sales or coupons. I would suggest this if your muscler person and need high power Percussion tool to do the job but for others that are smaller, you may find one that isnt as powerful to get the same results for a lower cost. Caution :⚠️ Once you've use this it's hard to put down!!! The Hypervolt 2 Pro is as advertised! Whether after a grueling tough workout or a long day it does not disappoint! The variety of attachments, various speeds & settings offer something for everyone whether your a beginner or expert. The hyperice app compliments it well! Offers a number of routines to help you use the Hypervolt well. I'm also enjoying the heated head attachment. It's a very nice addition. I've shared the Hypervolt with others (clients, friends and family). And they've gone out & bought one. Even my parents have one now!!!

Battery lasts longer than I thought it would. Easy to use and very powerful. I haven’t had to use the highest setting cause it works so well on low. Had to return other guns cause of poor quality but this one hasn’t disappointed.

This machine is amazing, easy to use, helps soothes sore muscles and aches. The attachments that come with the device are great and help soothe any muscle ache. This device gets deep into the muscles and provides a great massage.

Charges last a long time., I tried to drag the speed down but was unable to which makes it perfect, for deep muscle work.
