This is a little over proced for what it is. I'm not super experienced with them so you may have better results. I bought it for a kink i had in my neck and it didnt get rid if it but gave me a little relief.

Hi there! We apologize if the Hypervolt 2 did not suit your needs. For the neck area, we would suggest using the cushion attachment as it is our softest attachment. We would also suggest applying less manual pressure with the device itself. There are routines on the Hyperice app to follow along with that may be useful for you. Please reach out to our HyperCare team at customersupport@hyperice.com if you would like to discuss this further.

I chose this brand as it is the brand used by my physical therapist. I chose the high end model thinking it would be a "get what you pay for" proposition. The unit worked well for two weeks. One day I was using it lightly on my shoulders and it stopped. I thought maybe the battery went flat, but the light was green. I tried to charge it to no avail. It would not operate. I tried several times over the next 3 says and it was clear it is dead in the water. 5 Stars to Best Buy as they cheerfully refunded my money. I'm still researching what to buy as a replacement.

    Miracle Massage Device

The Hyperice - Hypervolt 2 Pro Premium Percussion Massage Device is outstanding! Truly a miracle worker. Especially for athletes and those that need regular massages to relieve aches, soreness and stress. I love the variable speed settings that allow you to really dial in on areas the require more attention, or decrease the speed for areas that need minor attention. The Hypervolt 2 Pro system has an amazing battery life. No need to worry if you require longer massage sessions, the battery can handle it without a problem. The Hyperice - Hypervolt 2 Pro Premium Percussion Massage device is very comfortable to hold. it's easy to apply addition pressure to areas of the body without losing grip on the handle, or destabilizing the application area. I really love how easy it is to use. The device is also well built. Very durable. I feel much better after using the Hyperice - Hypervolt 2 Pro Premium Percussion Massager following my workouts. My muscles feel relaxed and all soreness is alleviated, ensuring I am ready to go the next day. Prior to using the Hyperice - Hypervolt 2 Pro Premium Percussion Massager, I would have soreness in the shoulder and upper-back/lower neck region following some workouts after sleeping. Now that I have this device, that is no longer a problem. The massager works all of the tension out. I love this Hyperice - Hypervolt 2 Pro Premium Percussion Massage Device. I highly recommend it! Your muscles and joints will thank you!

I have used several other cheaper massagers in the past and I could tell right away quality of the Hypericd Hypervolt 2 Pro far surpasses the cheaper ones. The Good: This device is very well built. I have not had any issues with the 90w motor losing power while using it. I have used this mainly on my neck, shoulders, and back because I sit all day at work and have issues in these areas. It has helped immensely with pain and tightness in these areas. The battery lasted about 3.5 hours, so a little less than the suggested 5 hours, but I just keep the charger nearby and charge it each time I’m done using it. I love all the different attachments and have a good use for most of them. The Bad: It is very heavy and bulky. It gets difficult trying to hold it myself to massage my neck and back. Even my wife’s arms get tired after about 15 minutes of assisting me with it. As stated above, the battery life is not what is stated from my experience, but still good enough as long as I charge it after use. I am a pretty muscular guy, and so far I haven’t found a need to go past speed setting 3. I only state this as a bad because between that and the 90w motor you are paying $100 more for the pro, so the upgrade may not be worth the extra money if you’re not going to take advantage of the features.

    Pain Relief and Relaxation

With anything portable, I usually don’t expect heavy-duty performance, but that’s exactly what I got. That’s probably what has got me so excited about it. Portability and heavy duty are two words that rarely go together but they describe it perfectly. The Pro in the name of this percussion massage device is not simply a marketing gimmick to lure customers. I have another similar device from another brand and it is good, but the Hyperice Hybervolt 2 Pro is clearly better. Just a couple of tries and I was sold. I’m just going back to my usual workout routine, and I’ll need it daily. This is not just to be used after workout. It works with other types of pain but my second most common use for it is to relax my whole body. Of course, for this you need somebody to help but you just promise that person the same treatment and you’re set. It comes with different attachments suitable for different parts of the body and you can select up to 5 levels intensity. It has been a memorable experience every time. Especially for my back. It is relatively quiet and comfortable in the hands. I intend to take it with me for my next trip. Usually, I wouldn’t carry something like that but because it is easy to pack and no cables once it’s charged, it will come with me going forward. The premium in its name fits its look and feel too. A great overall design and quiet considering its power.

I have been using the Hyperice Hypervolt 2 Pro for about a week. I had one of the competitor products before so this is my first Hypervolt device. Out of the box, you get 5 massage heads, a case to carry them in, a charger with international adapters, and various instruction cards. Getting started requires you to charge the Hyperice first. It's recommended to charge for 4 hours before use. During charging the handle (which is also the battery) has a green light. The battery/handle can be removed, so you don't have to charge it as a large bulky unit. Using the Hypervolt 2 Pro though is where it shines. It's VERY quiet. I am amazed. It's so much quieter than competitor products. To put it in perspective, you can use the Hypervolt 2 Pro even on the highest setting and still comfortably watch and listen to TV. This truly amazes me. This also matters because to get the best results you want to be using a percussive massager a few times a day. As for the Bluetooth features and app. The Hypervolt 2 Pro has Bluetooth and the free app (registration) required lets you pair the device to your phone. I am not sure why it needs to pair via Bluetooth (no firmware upgrades, etc). It seems it's to give you access to exclusive video content that shows some massage patterns (routines) to use. Including what I would call lifestyle routines, like "Nighttime relief" that can help relax your muscles after a long day. The more I have used the Hyperice, the more I am impressed. The fork-style massage head is great on my calf muscles, the 5 speeds are great to get the right level of treatment you need, but most of all the fact that the Hypervolt Hyperice 2 Pro is the quietest percussive massager I have ever used means I am using it more than I have ever used any other. Honestly, I can't recommend this enough. PS. If you're looking at the box in BestBuy, I would point out that the case you see on the back of the box is just for the attachments. The Hyperice Hypervolt 2 Pro does not come with an included carry case for the entire unit. You need to buy that separately. I really do wish Hyperce included a carry case. Especially when it's a premium unit. The absence of an included case for everything is what stops me from giving the Hyperice 5 stars. Oh... and an extra PS. I was reading that this has TSA travel approval. I haven't put that to the test, but nice to know.

The Hyperice Hypervolt 2 Pro is top notch in massage guns. Even the box it comes in is well thought out. Upon opening the box, the items inside are neatly packed and secure. There is a charger with alternate wall plug adapters, the gun, additional massage attachments, and the user guide. I had to charge my Hypervolt 2 Pro before use. The gun was completely dead right out of the box. I charged it for about 6 hours and tried it out. There is a master power switch on the bottom of the gun right near where the power cord plugs in. Then there is a large dial on the back of the gun that controls how fast the gun pulsates. Man this thing is powerful! I haven't even been able to put it past the first level of power. I have played around with a few of the massage heads. Some are softer than others. The gun isn't heavy or cumbersome so its easy to use alone or for longer periods of time. I use this gun after workouts and when I get home from working a 12 hour day. It really loosens you up quick.

I have the old Hypervolt Go and thought it was the greatest thing ever. But now this is the greatest thing ever. It has a long handle that makes it easy to use on all parts of your back. It has plenty of head attachments to accommodate all of your body parts that need massaging. It is very easy to use, you just flip the on/off switch on the bottom, then rotate the back of it to turn it on. You keep rotating the back to turn it up from lowest to highest with the rotating dial. My first use was with the big ball attachment. It felt so good. It has a broader surface and just feels right. I then switched it to the double end for longer muscles and used it on my hamstrings, thighs, and hips. It was awesome! I didn't even have to turn it up more than two. My wife then used it and she likes the deeper tissue massages. She turned it up and fell in love too. This massager relieved both of our tight muscles and provided instant relief. Highly recommend!!
