Not for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ended up returning the item since it was too rough for my wife and I, even on the lowest setting. I guess I was expecting something different. Had to be really careful to stay on the muscle because once you hit bone you really feel it.

Quiet, Well Made Massager
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this massager to see if it would help with my chronic, long term plantar fasciitis. It gives me at least some temporary relief of my plantar fasciitis but I haven't used it long enough to see if it will result in long term relief. I haven't needed to use it on anything else yet. It has a piston action type of massage that pounds the area its used on so it takes a little getting use to how to use it. The massager is a high-quality, well made unit. It has 3 speeds and is relatively quiet. I'm sure I'll get many years of use out of it.

Not powerful enough.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Several of my friends have this and felt like I finally found something to take out all my knots. Tried it but ended up returning it because it wasn't powerful enough. Got the Theragun which is more expensive but way worth it!!!

Great product! Battery life not so much!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved this hyperice massage device but the only issue is the battery. I used it maybe 20-30 times in a while year and the battery gave out. No worries though Hyperice gave me a new battery as I called them and told them the issue.

Competitive Athlete and Training MUST HAVE!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is a must have for anyone participating in competitive or professional sports. There is a learning curve with this but you can do it. In the hands of a seasoned vet (or someone who learned on themselves), this will work wonders! You can accidentally learn how to use this on yourself by finding those tight spots and instantly finding a nice ahhhhhh or ooooooh of relaxation. It is great for pre and post workouts to loosen up or warm up your muscles. After using this, my legs felt revitalized after my half marathon training sessions. I just can't say enough about this device's healing properties. The unboxing experience was premium! Everything was well packaged and presented as a showpiece. This box is built as if it should be the place where you store the Hypervolt when not in use. Everything stays put in a nice dense foam and nothing shifts around the box. In the box are 4 interchangeable heads, the Hypervolt, the power charger, warranty card, and "instructions". I must say I am disappointed in the literature provided. Instead of providing information on what each tip is and what it's used for, they provided a product/sales brochure and a 1pg quick start guide. This device is something you can sell more of if you educate the customers who are interested in it. This is your more affordable entry level device to the Raptor and you provide ZERO tips & tricks or tutorials on the device and its attachments. HUGE miss! Go to the Hypervolt support page for better instruction and use information. READ THE WARNINGS! You don't find info on the 4 interchangeable heads so DON’T LOOK FOR IT. On another note, I don't worry about the build quality on this at all. It is built like a tool! Solid like a tank, this thing feels like it's built to survive a nuclear holocaust. It weighs 2.5lbs and it has a big battery that will last a few sessions. It has a tough plastic shell to house the professional grade internals. There are 4 different heads to use and they all serve different purposes (which you will have to learn on your own if you aren't a Physical Therapist). I'm just glad I own this thing! Battery life is 2+ hours so you can get in some work and not have to charge it. It has LED indicators that tell you battery level so you are not caught off-guard with a dead device. There are three intensity levels, each gets faster as you go up to level 3. I'd recommend mastering level 1 without hurting yourself, then step up as needed. I like the switch is there to shut off the device and protect from accidental start ups. Overall, I LOVE this device and recommend it to ANYONE training or competitive athletes. You can work out so many of the common problems with this device and get warmed up faster to train. If you are serious about training, this is a MUST BUY! I guess I will find out if it is durable in the future.

More for Athletes
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Hypervolt is a great massage tool but very powerful. Great for muscle soreness, tight muscles and pre/post workouts. We find this a little on the heavy side but made very sturdy. There are 2 power switches which we forget to turn off sometimes. The battery life is about 2.5 hrs which is way more than you need at any given time. There are 3 different strength levels that increase each step. The first level is a little more powerful than it should be - not a true beginners step for massaging. Be careful using it until you are familiar with its strength. It works but is very powerful. It is nice having 4 different massage heads/tools for working different parts of your body. My son loves the ball attachment for his tight muscles - help loosen them up. It is a very well made massage device but should be used with care and more for the true work out addicts. I think it is a little too powerful for the everyday aches and pains. Also, the instructions are not the greatest - go their website to watch videos and read more about it.

Too much motion
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The massager is very painful to use, assuming it may be because our family isn’t trained to use it. It surely isn’t for beginners, every member of the family that tried it complained that it hurt during and after use.

Super quiet and works great!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this thing! Opened it up, tried it out and it’s SUPER quiet compared to other brands. It has an assortment of of attachments to ensure you can massage the right area with the great amount of pressure. Love the charge indicator LEDs. The battery lasts forever, and also doubles as a grip when using it on my back! Over the holidays my whole family used this thing, wife, in laws, everybody loved it and were amazed how quiet it was.

Eh
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works pretty good I guess. Not exactly what I thought it was as I thought it was more of an impact unit and less of a vibration one. But all in all gets the job done.

Loved it but it stopped working after 2 days
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first opened the package, the parts were scattered throughout the box. Almost like this was returned once before and then i bought it. I charged the gun and it worked great at first but every time I would go to the second highest setting, it would shut off. I would have to remove the battery each time in order to get it to turn back on again. That was a hassle. I am sure this one was just defective and i'll give it a try again with a replacement. However, I have to leave an honest review based on this experience

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Felt underwhelmed. It needs a slightly longer stroke to be effective. Otherwise, it's just strong vibration that does nothing for pain or recovery.

Decent but overrated
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On sale the price is pretty good. I find the machine reduces pain associated with DOMS muscle strain but doesn’t really have any curative ability. Overrated

Not that great
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not like this product, I feel like it did not really massage my muscles. To be honest it just felt like it vibrated and made my skin all itchy.

Good massaging tool
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great when it's used by someone else for a massage. But using it by yourself is not too great and it didn't help with soreness very much.

Shakes too much and too loud
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It shakes quite violently and is loud, and even the lowest setting is too shaky and strong. Ended up returning as I couldn't use it comfortably.
