I heard good things about HyperX so I bought these on sale. They work great and I'm glad I purchased them. They are light and I don't mind wearing them for hours on end.

I don't consider myself an audiophile but the music quality seems pretty decent. The surround is nice in games and the headphone is incredibly comfortable.

When my nephew needed new headphones for gaming because his mom bring on this old ones, this was the first one he showed us. He already knew what he wanted, now usually I still research until I make up my mind, but it was clear these were the ones he wanted. I guess it was a good purchase because they came in, he put them on, and I haven't seen him since, except for food breaks. It must have great nice cancellation because he can't hear us until we're right there in front of him.

Super comfortable and great sound. Removable mic is great too if you're using them to watch content and don't wan the boom in your way. Nice braided cables and useful in-line controller I keep clipped to my desk pad. 7.1 surround adds a lot of depth to the sound. Watch for it to go on sale....great pickup for around $100

I’ve always loved hyperX Headsets. I find them to be the most comfortable out of your typical “budget” gaming headsets. I’ve owned 3 over the past 8 years, and not because 2 have broken; I was just trying different models, wired and wireless. I love them all, and still have them all.

I've had these for a little over 8 months now and originally I had the sister headphones (HyperX Cloud II's), which lasted 4 years before the wire connection from the earcup separated from the mobo. Anyways, after doing some digging, I found that these would be my next purchase for their almost similar design except with the benefit of base and a better over-all sound quality. To be frank they are worth the money, the base is respectful and the sound quality overall is clean! I will say one of the most important factors in my decision was the actual cord going into the headphones. This has a detachable cord so the wire itself isn't directly connected to the mobo making it sooo much better for long-term use. I expect them to hold up for a longer time, and are WELL worth the price.

I had originally purchased the hyper Cloud Core X Series and eventually after 4 years they were out. This was the next step as it has 7.1 surround sound built in and so far it is proven great. The extra ear cups are huge plus as that seems to be the only thing that wears out in this headset. Also the 7.1 surround sound is great and having the ability to balance my game chat and the music volume from the game is huge when you're playing games like Tarkov amd Cod.

I am using this with a PS4. My daughter is the primary user. Sound quality is good. It does not rival a high end pair of headphones, but also costs a lot less. I am considering buying another pair for my computer.

Used them for two weeks now, great sound, and very very comfortable, comes with fabric pads to replace leather if you sweat to easily. Adjustable bass is great. I’d talk about the microphone but I currently have them run into its own mixer with an external microphone. Over all build quality is quite solid

Good bass. Good sound quality. It's durable. I used to have 50 dollar turtle beach headphones and after like 3 or 4 years the mic broke on it so I bought these. I liked the turtle beaches but this is just better. It's more comfortable, gets louder, sounds better for everyone else as well.

Great comfort for hours and they sound great. Microphone also sounds great. Detachable cord and mic is awesome for longevity. Overall very pleased also work well with glasses. My last pair use to leave my ears throbbing after a few hours because it wasn’t cushioned enough. Can’t go wrong with these.

One of my favorite pairs of headphone for EVERYTHING. The sound of these rival some Sennheisers that were double price while also being a lot more comfortable. The bass is pretty good too, and the mesh ear cups are a game changer for longer wears.

I was reading reviews saying the bass adjustment sliders are a gimmick. That is completely wrong. You can definitely hear a difference between sealed, medium and max bass. Sealed is very little bass so it's nice to have the option. HyperX sound quality is on par with the red alphas. Build quality is solid as expected. The stock ear cushions (both the PU leather and softweave pads) are slightly thicker. The 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable is short for mobile use, and that can be a pro or con depending on who you are. It's not too short imo so you can use it with mobile devices no problem. It's short because it was made for the usb adapter, which is great itself. This headset shines when connected to a 3rd party amp as well. If you dont like the cable you can simply use a different 4-pole 3.5mm cable if you like! Having that option is awesome (I don't understand why any headset would have built-in / non-detachable cables in this world).

Have owned this headset for a year and a half and have been very pleased with it. Use it for gaming and watching videos; sound quality is great. Cable length is very long so its very forgiving if you need to move around a bit.

Spent hundreds on turtle beaches only to have them last 1 to 2 years max. I tried HyperX Cloud 2s after they were recommended by everyone and they lasted me about 5 years before the aux tip went bad. This pair eliminates that issue since the AUX cord is removable and replaceable. I expect for these to last a lot longer. I use them on my Xbox With the Mixer that came with the turtle beach.

Seems like a solid product but not for my purposes. The headphones themselves are sturdy and comfortable with great sound but when you turn on the 7.1 surround there is a persistent popping. It's the kind of pop you hear when you disconnect your headphones. It's not constant but it is persistent, and only when the 7.1 is on, which is the very reason to drop $120 over other models. I don't know if this happens on PC or PS4 but it is an issue with the PS5. Also, I wouldn't recommend this for console in general because of how short the cord is. It looks long when you link the two cables but you have to clip it on to you or it will keep tugging. Unless you're sitting very near your system it's not ideal.

A game changer for me. I was a cheapskate for too many years playing with earbuds or some awkward combination of headphones for game volume and earbuds for chat (my brother is a Zoom engineer, so we use Zoom for comms). Anyway, after living with these for 7 months, I can whole-heartedly endorse them. The sound quality is great (not too bass-y, not too trebble-y), they don't make my ears "sweat" like some other headphones do, and they are, for the most part, very comfortable. My only gripe would be that the pads don't fit great over my current glasses, and it does cause me a bit of pain where the glasses rest between my head and the foam pad during long gaming sessions.
