Me and my buddy love this headset for competitive gaming. We play valorant and fortnite. You can hear so clear, and the mic is so good.

I bought these to use as my main PC headset and as a backup to my PS4s Astro A50s. These ended up being really great. I now use these for both my PC and PS4 99% of the time. They don't cause hot spots on the headband, and both the headband and earcups are very comfortable. I have had no complaints about the mic, which swaps on and off without issue. The cord offers plety of length, and also comes with an extension. There is an inline volume control and mute button. I have wore them for up 12 hours strait without fatigue or pain. They are closed back, so your ears will sweat. I primarily use them to game and watch movies. WHile gaming, you can hear the footsteps and direction they are coming from very well. For movies, the stereo sound is pretty amazing when watching movies with highdef sound. I have turned around a couple of times thinking someone was talking or knocking behind me when watching a movie. The combination of hair product and longer sessions can make the headband sticky, like most headsets, but the material of this one cleans off very good with a wet cloth. The construction is very sturdy, with a metal headband, unlike plastic Turtle beach headbands. I highly recommend them.

These headphones are used by a blind and hearing impaired guy who wears them almost 24/7. These are a step or two up from his previous Hyper X Cloud series and he says the sound is better on these Alpha headphones. The test of time will be the final predictor of durability but these seem to be a more durable build.

I spent a lot of time looking for Headsets for my PS4 and these are perfect for me the build quilty is amazing. It’s also light weight and very comfortable for long gamming sessions ( 8+ hours ).

Bought this for my son and he LOVES this headset. He loves the comfort and grip to the head, the sound quality, and is pleased that the mic is detachable.

Purchased for xbox chat. Sound is great, people say they can hear me so mic must be good. They are comfortable and I appreciate that they come with a fabric bag to keep them in between uses.

It’s a very comfortable headset. The sound quality is great. It’s not too bulky and you can remove the microphone if you don’t need it. Would definitely recommend.

I probably spent way too much time researching xbox one headsets. I decided on this one as I was tired of my Turtle Beach headsets breaking at the earcup pivot points. The solid build was a must, but an equal sin was having really thin bass. So I researched this one and found the reviews to be true- the bass is a superb- possibly at the cost of some mids, but I’m quite happy with it. Solid warranty (2yrs) backs the product which I love. Previously used wireless and hated having to charge between evenings. Love that there is no battery concern. Used with Sonicstage and there is a great surround sound feel on my xb1

Awesome headphones. Since the cord and the microphone can disconnect, there are no concerns that they will break when stored in my bag. I use it for team meetings in an office environment, and the noise-cancelling and over-ear setup works well.

I'm not a big headphone person, I much prefer to listen to my PC audio via speakers... But I recently started playing World of Warcraft again and needed something for raid nights and discord. I hadn't bought myself a headset in more than eight years, and found myself a little over my head with the newer stuff, but a helpful Best Buy employee set me on the right track. That said, I do love this headset. It's comfortable, the sound is awesome and the microphone is crisp. I have never before found a headset that was comfortable to wear for hours on end, but this one is great. My ears love it!

Very great product for the price. I game regularly and have had these headphones come in clutch with great sound and mic. I know some people who have bought other brands and have trouble hearing sounds I have no problem hearing with this headset on. Works very well with gaming if games youre game requires a lot of sound awareness.

Honestly, i had bought many cheap inexpensive headphones over the years with, when it comes to sound quality, its hits my requirements, along with the cords and mic being detatchable really give it that durability you need. Removing the mic means its upgradable, so get rid of that mic and go for a real high quality mic, or use a lavalier mic that fits it size.

I use these for gaming. They have good sound, the mic is reliable and the are very durable. Most other brands have plastic in the adjustable headband that eventually fails. HyperX seems to use all metal construction and they never break. That's a big difference.

After trying a few different wired headsets, I settled with these. Mostly for comfort and mic quality. I wish these were louder though. That is really my only complaint.
