A: Extra length but more importantly a plug for the mic and the headphones. Plug these into a sound card or just into the jacks in your device. From there you can separate the mic volume (or set to listen to) and headset volume in various ways.
Q: Are these compatible with pc and if so can I use them for discord to talk with my friends
A: Yes the Hyper-X headset with charging wire is great for both. I use mine every day on my PC. Mic works great. Talk to friends on discord all day with them. And when your wire is tangled to the point of breaking, you can buy a replacement wire inexpensive online instead of buying a whole new headset. Happy gaming!
A: It connects via tri-pole 3.5mm headphone jack and includes a splitter to break it out into separate headphone and microphone signals. Your best bet might be to purchase a USB audio adapter, which I had to do anyway to eliminate microphone signal noise on my aging PC.
Q: I’m going to be using this with my blue yeti mic and I was wondering if the mic was detachable?
A: The mic does detach and looks good even without it, the remaining hole is small and unobtrusive.
Q: Does this Play game play sound through the headset for Xbox one?
A: Yes it does!
Q: Are these noise canceling? That’s a make or brake for me.
A: I believe they are because when I’m yelling at my son while gaming he can’t hear me!
A: It depends on what type of jack your laptop has. If it has a single TRRS jack, you would use the 3.5mm jack by itself. If it has separate microphone and speaker jacks, you would use the splitter.

Amazing quality, comfort, and overall performance
Sound Quality: 10/10 Mic Quality: 10/10 (based on the response from online friends) Durability: 10/10 Detachable mic and aux cord allows you to replace components at a fraction of the cost (if needed) rather than replacing the whole headset. If you play online you will notice an immediate difference and advantage. Footsteps are extremely clear and you have extra time to adjust positions and prepare. You can also game for extended periods with no discomfort, the headset is sturdy but not heavy, and the ear cups are very comfortable.

Great headset
The HyperX Cloud II is honestly one of the best headsets you can get without spending a fortune. The sound is super clear, the 7.1 surround really helps in games, and the ear cushions are super comfy—even after hours of playing. The mic is detachable and does a good job blocking out background noise, so your friends can hear you clearly. It works with pretty much everything—PC, PlayStation, Xbox—but the surround sound only works with USB on PC. Still, for the price, it’s a great headset that feels solid and sounds awesome.
