The new Alpha model is basically the Cloud headset I always wanted. They managed to improve the sound quality on what was already an incredible headset. The new dual chamber system gives punchier bass but still maintains crisp highs and mids. They finely implemented a removable cable as well which is what I really wanted. Also the comfort HyperX is known for is still there. Best $100 headset available without a doubt

Today, the microphone suddenly stopped working. I thought maybe the problem was with the driver in my laptop, but after a lot of troubleshooting, I've found the problem is that the microphone part of the headset is no longer functional. For a headset at this price range, I would've expected longer than 2.5 months of use out of it.
