sound is amazing but when connected to my pc my friends hear a high pitched sound all the time its not loud but in the background and theres some echos

You can get a better mic for cheaper. Get the rig 500 pro they are amazing. Theses are just trash.

Hi all, Right off the bat I want to say I very rarely write reviews... however I feel that I need to on this one in hopes I can help someone out that is in the same predicament that I was in.. So here it is, I’m an Xbox gamer I received the turtle beach stealth 700 as a gift. Excited to plug it in and play only to be disappointed by the sound... not disappointed by the bass or the highs, mids or lows... but by the overall in game volume of it... I tried everything possible to get the Darn things to get louder... after several hours of researching I found that other people had the same complaint... listen I’m not deaf... and when it is at max volume and I can hear my wife say my name 20ft away from me with the noise cancelation on... there is a problem.... So now I was on the search to return the TB stealth 700 and get a new headset... I was tossing up several I mean Several different options of headsets from the Hyper X alphas, hyper X Cloud 2, Hyper X cloud X (which is specially designed for Xbox), TB elite Pros, Corsairs, I mean everything Best Buy could offer I was looking into and reading up on. I did not want another headset that didn’t emerge me into the gaming world... I decided to go with wired over wireless in the end because it seemed that although wireless is nice... to get something at that price point just wasn’t going to happen and have all the features I want. So downgrading to wired was the way to go however boosting all other features is what I opted for. When it came time for a decision I literally could not chose between the Cloud Alphas and the cloud 2s... I decided to go with the cloud alphas because of the dual Chambers and the In line audio control connected to the wire both features the Cloud 2s did not offer. If I were to go with the cloud 2s I would have to buy a stereo headset adapter to control the volume and mute the mic. Where as the alphas have that built in already with the in line mic audio control. Also I wasn’t buying into the whole surround sound advertisement that the cloud 2s were offering. Now let me tell you I’m so happy with my purchase. I even saved 40 dollars and got it put onto a gift card for later use. Now yes it’s wired. But it has all the other features I want. I play a lot of COD blackout so being able to pinpoint enemy’s by listening to footsteps is a must. The highs, the mids, the lows, the bass, the overall game sound of the headset is perfect. I have it all the way turned up for in game and it’s loud enough it reached the level of loudness that I like when I play games. I can no longer hear my wife 20 ft away saying my name I’m completely emerged in my game while im wearing these. This is a must buy if your deciding between headphones. The hyper X cloud Alpha for the win Also I would like to add how comfortable to memory foam is And that I am in no way shape or form a headset Connoisseur in fact I hadn’t had a gaming headset in years I always used the TV. I’m just a regular guy that absolutely loves these headphones and can’t recommend enough. Hopefully I helped or can help someone else making a tough discussion because lord knows I spent hours researching gaming headphones and these fit all the criteria including in game volume.
