I bought these when i purchased my xbox one x. They are okay but I was hoping for something with better sound quality. I got these because the guy at Best Buy hyped them up.

The headset is a decent headset but I may have got a defective model. If I muted myself there was a static noise on my end and the people in my party.

Its a good set of headphones. Experienced people rated these headphones as the overall best. I enjoy them as well. They are comfortable, they dont put pressure on my ears, and the sound is great. The frame that holds each ear piece and adjusts is metal so you dont have to worry about that part breaking. Its only about $100 which is cheaper than many other high quality headphones. The mic is quality as my friends are able to hear me loud and clear. The only thing I worry about is the wiring from the frame to the earpieces. That is where a short will happen as I had a pair of Jlab headphones that was built the same way with having a wire from the frame to the earpiece if you know what Im talking about, and that was where the short happened granted that was after 5 plus years of regular use before a short happened. So Im hoping these will last a good long while as well if not longer. Basically, just take care of these headphones and dont be careless with the detachable mic and with the headphones and I think they will last a good long time

Bought for an open office environment where lots of virtual meetings take place on camera through zoom, webex, google meet, MS Teams. I have a very large head (size 7 3/4 to size 8). Headphones and ear cups are very comfortable for all day wear, sound quality is excellent, and the microphone provides very clear/crisp audio without picking up external noises/conversations around me. Absolutely love it! I have one at home for gaming and one at the office. Price point was excellent. Tremendous value!

Finally found the perfect headset for me!!!!

Just to provide some context to my situation. I've been on the hunt for a couple months now, for a wired headset that can seamlessly be used across all 3 gaming platforms (PS4,XBOX and Switch) that still delivers quality sound and still be super comfortable. I owned multiple headsets for each of my consoles and that was just a big pain. Tried two headsets before this one: Turtle Beach Stealth 300- A little uncomfortable after long game sessions and controls were not the easiest to use during gameplay. Astro A10- Super comfortable, decent audio. Just wanted a little more then what it had to offer. I'm pretty biased when it comes to Astro's and Turtle Beach's but I knew that I had to look elsewhere. That's when these Hyper X Cloud Alpha's came my way!! With my budget being around 100 bucks, I was a bit stuck on getting these or the Cloud 2's, but it seemed to me the Alpha's had little bit of a better build and feature lineup. Removable components were a big plus due to me not always wanting to chat while on the Switch. The Alpha's has worked phenomenal on all 3 systems. Extremely comfortable and for the $100 price point the sound caught me off guard. Great highs, very good lows. I've added another favorite brand when it comes to gaming headseats and that would be HyperX!!!

The Hyper X Cloud Alpha Pro is not worth it's budget price for many reasons. The headset is too tight, the cable tends to coil up frequently contrary to other headset cables, and the earcups are not comfortable. The sound is fine, and the mic is okay. Do not buy this mic, buy the earlier counterpart (Hyper X- Cloud Alpha)
