These didn't feel comfortable at all. They sounded ok I prefer the Cloud II's more

quit working after 2 weeks extremely disappointing

HyperX is one of the best brands in gaming. There is a reason the pros use them consistently. The Cloud and Cloud II are the most popular gaming headsets for the last 8 years. The Alphas are the successor to the Cloud and Cloud II, What you get here is extremely good build quality, crystal clear mic (Discord certified), as well as 50mm drivers that have some of the best balanced EQ in gaming. The reason this is important is because in gaming you want to hear all frequencies at the same level for consistent sound quality. Also, the Alphas have the dual chamber for the drivers, meaning the bass is nice, loud, and tight, yet not unbalanced, and the mids and highs are able to ring out without clashing with the bass. It is a really good design choice for this headset. Lastly, this headset does NOT come with the HyperX 7.1 surround sound dongle. That is ok, because for competitive gaming you want balanced stereo. However, you can order the 7.1 surround sound dongle from many online retailers, as well as Hyper X directly. Just know that in doing so, you will be running, like, 20 feet of cable. The cable from your headset is a 4 pole 3.5mm jack. It runs into a 3.5 mm audio/mic jack that then connects to the computer. IF you add the dongle, then you have to run that 3.5mm audio/mic into the dongle, then there is an additional 6 feet or so that runs to a USB port on your computer. Its super inconvenient, but worth it if you want surround sound for gaming.

Headphone went out within a week. No sound had to return to store.

Gave as a gift it's been 2 weeks and the speaker just cut out.

These headphones are great! I am using these headphones on my laptop, and they are excellent for gaming. Very soft on your ears and head. Discord calls are very clear; your voice as well as your friends voice! Sound quality is wonderful for the price. Overall great headphones!

Ok it’s no wireless but get over that because these are the best gaming headphones I’ve ever had. Bought these for for use on my Xbox one, specifically for some Battle Royal I’m obsessed with(Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Fortnite, and Apex: Legends). Put these bad boys on (and turn on Windows Sonic in Xbox’s settings) and I hear everything around me. From gunshots in the distance or Footsteps in the next room, I’m never caught off guard(except by filthy campers lol). It’s safe to say these headphones have brought me my few victories in Battle Royals (except Fortnite, I cant build to save my life). On top of that the noise canceling mic make all my call outs crystal clear for my squad. Games with other headsets got real sweaty, literally, because other mics always picked up my loud AC. Finally if you’re curious about comfort we’ll its hard to say because I forget these are on my head sometimes.

Issues with feedback through spilt cable, decent headset build overall though. Might try it with the usb Audio card adapter to fix feedback issue.

My son said that headset audio breaks most of the time. I am disappointed with the purchase as this was purchased for his Christmas gift.

Cord jack shorted out after a few days of use. Can't say that particularly impressed me. Ear cups were comfy though.

It’s a very good headset but I have not been able to figure out why it will randomly get staticy. If anyone knows how to fix this issue please help

These echo so bad. I couldn’t even play with friends. Would not recommend. I bought another pair. Waste of money

Extremely rich and deep tones! If you like deep bass and clear tones this is the headset for you. Construction of headset is great does not feel flimsy and ear pieces are very soft and comfortable. I use these for my Xbox and PC.

The mic picks up gameplay and friends voice chat no matter how you put your settings. Extremely frustrating.

Generally, headsets are easy to use. This one had a microphone that didn't fit the headset, didn't work and the left earphone had spotty reception. The best thing is that Best Buy accepted the return/replacement no questions asked. The new headset arrived within a few days and works perfectly! It should be noted that the gold was no longer available, only red.

I purchased for a march birthday and was just recently used and user says there is a lot of feedback. disappointed in product (feedback issue) and best buy (15 day return policy). will likely not be a returning customer since there are other retailer with better terms than this.

I would rate it a 4.6 the sound on these are pretty good, the mic is awesome and clear, the only issue I have is echo, I’m not sure if it’s my end or what but it’s easy to bypass if you turn the volume down or other fixes but overall worth my money.

Either permanently destroyed BOTH of my audio jacks, or somehow corrupted all of my audio drivers and uninstalling them does nothing. Now all of my wired headsets crackle randomly with no good reason.

The speaker keep cutting off and the mic is not good
