I've owned them a week so here is what I have so far: The dual-chamber is the bomb. Voice chat is very distinct from game sounds. Base is good, mids are chrisp, highs are not too shrill. pcgamer has these as one of their top 2019 choices and I really like. I have a larger than normal skull so these are a bit tight around my ears. Even thought the memory foam is good there is still pressure that makes these uncomfortable to wear very long for me. Average size noggins will be just fine. The only thing lacking is a better volume control. HyperX sells a couple of stand alone surround sound cards that can be added but my MSI motherboard has built in surround sound software so no need for me. Anyways, like I said. The dual-chamber is great! Much better than any set I've owned before. I really like the build quality. They don't seem like they'll fall apart after basic use after a year. I've owned several pairs of sets from different manufacturers and they all tend to break at weak points with just general use. This one appears it is worth the money. I'll update if there are any issues.

Pretty good for a budget gaming headphone but the 3.5mm connector got stuck in the PS4 controller. The quality of the wire is bad. I rated 4 star for its ease of use, comfort, and sound quality. But the sound quality for the price can be better. Recommend it only if cannot spend more than $100. If you can spend about $200 then buy Sennheiser 58X Jubilee with VModa Boompro Mic or Beyerdynamic 770 or 990 Pro (32 Ohm Version) with the above mentioned mic if you want to connect to your controller and play.

I’ll keep it simple, these are one of the best headphones out there and i recommend it to anybody looking to buy gaming headphones! Sound quality is fantastic with clear audio and deep bass. On ps4 they sound pretty loud (which i like because most headphones sound low on ps4) and on xbox one even louder, i love using it on all my consoles and even mobile phone to listen to music! Again i 100% recommend them!

The HyperX Cloud Alpha Pro are good headphones but I'd actually recommend saving a few bucks and going with the non-pro version. They are pretty much the same headphones and the only difference I could find with these are that they are fully black. Even the Best Buy guys couldn't tell me what the difference was, especially because the packaging is also identical. Apart from that, the sound quality is great for the price and the clamp was okay. I ended up returning these however, because the earcups are not very flexible. Because of the way they made the earcups be attached to the metal wiring design rather that the a swivel on the band, you can only adjust the up/down angle of these headphones. It never felt like it made a perfect seal around my ears due to their being no freedom in the sideways angle. If you try them on and don't find the way it sits on your ears uncomfortable, I think these would be a solid option for most gamers.

Good headset for the price. There are several competitors but actually getting a good quality build from hyperx is essential. Definitely an upgrade from the cloud II

Where do I begin! 1)This is the headset that started it all; changed (gaming) my life, it did!!! 2) I like it SOOOOOOOOOOO much that I bought the 7.1 version too! 3) FANTASTIC sound gaming & just listening to tunes! 4) TrackIR5 fits it REAL nice! AND it's MADE IN CHINA! Now,I ask you, How great is THAT!!!!
