This is a great beginners headset, when you are gaming you need noise isolation and clear and crisp audio and this headset give you all of that for around 80 bucks.

Needed a headset for work that would focus the sound on me and not around me, as others around me could be having their own conversations with sensitive information. I read on reddit somewhere that HyperX only uses uni mics as opposed to omni mics, and this headset has foam padding to boot. It has definitely helped filter out noise around me on my calls, colleagues & customers have noted a big difference. It's comfortable, easy to adjust, by default uses a phone's 3.5mm jack. It comes with a long adapter cord/splitter to connect to a pc's sound out and mic/line in ports. This works great for me so I can easily switch between my pc and phone.

I was thrilled to buy these moreover after reading many positives reviews. The good part is the design and the pluggable MIC. Quality at the touch is nice. But once over the ears it does not feel as a good product. Cons found: 1) Biggest con is the wired cable. While the isolation with the earcups is quite good, when using them I was noticing like a weird friction sound quite frequently with the sound. Finally realised was due to the bridled cable, jeopardising my listening experience. This effect is quite noticeable and should have been taken care of with the design. 2) Sound sounds filtered, lower volume. Specially noticeable with voice. This is just with the shorter cable, without adding the extension cord for longer reach. 3) Not so comfortable over the ears. This is more personal and depends on individuals, but I did not feel it so comfortable to be used for longer periods. Kinda small pressure sideways. So kind of disappointing experience with the cloud Alpha I am afraid. Due to above, I would not recommend it.

For the price paid, definetely a good alternative option for playing games all day, conformable to use for long hours, mic could be a little better but does its job.

Had to return these because I found it for a cheaper price for the blackout variant however I can say using that headset that the audio was good for watching movies/tv, gaming and listening to music. Obviously it's nothing crazy for this price range but it's suitable for an average consumer.

I use them for gaming and they've been good for that. They have a detachable aux cable so if the cord is what breaks it can be replaced. On top of that they're reasonably priced

I love these headphones, I use them when I can! The microphone quality is great, and so is the sound quality! The sound adjuster can take some getting used to, but it's a great feature. I recommend these headphones if you're looking for a high quality pair of headphones but don't want to spend a fortune!
