Easily the best headset I've owned and I've gone through close to a dozen the last year (young kids break things regardless of how close you watch them). LOVE THESE.

These are pretty good. Not the most comfortable after a little use. Fair value. I won’t return them. Separate chat volume would be great addition.

Depending on what kind of controller you have, the sound quality is either great or bad. For example, I have a brand new all red controller that I picked up at Best Buy and when I plug the mic in the sound quality is poor. I can barely hear my friends and the in game volume is low. If I use my old controller from when I got the Xbox one s (standard white) everything feels and sound right. At first I thought it was just a busted controller but I used a different headset and it sounded great, so it wasn’t the controller.

I actually brought the headset to do mental health therapy sessions online. I can hear my patients clearly and talk to them with ease. The sound is great!

Very comfortable and work how they should. Out of the box, their sound isn't great, but with an EQ they sound good. The mic picks up a fair amount of backgound noise.

I always buy hyperx, and I’ve never had this problem before but this one is a complete dud. I can barely hear anything out of it and the microphone never works. It’s basically useless and doesn’t do anything it’s supposed to do. I don’t know that I’ve ever bought one exactly like this so maybe buy one of the other hyper X products. I bought several of those and never had a problem. Now for the second part of this review, Best Buy totally screwed me over on this because they only gave me 17 days to return this. We weren’t using it very much so we didn’t know until the 30th day that it didn’t work. It was intermittently working and it just takes a while to figure out that it’s just never gonna work right. We had to test it on several different controllers, for example. They did not give us time to do all that and now I have to see if I can get factory warranty on it because Best Buy didn’t even give me 30 days. They’ve always given me at least 30 days so I didn’t know that was gonna happen. I didn’t know. I only had a couple of weeks to test this out. It’s ridiculous. I don’t know when they change that or if it’s only directed towards certain products but be careful. They don’t want to take responsibility for anything. I shop here all the time and I’m very disappointed.

Nice set of headphones. Second pair I purchased for the family. First set are 18-19 months old and still work fine.
