This is not USB compatible since it uses the 3.5 mm adapter to plug-in. Unlike the razor, the microphone does not go inside the unit. One advantage over the Razer is that the cable unplugs from the headset. The cable is on the short side but it does come with an extension. If you want to purchase a longer extension cable, make sure that it can handle sound and microphone, otherwise the extension cable will not work.
