Comfortable to wear. Good sound quality. I connect the headphones to my blue yeti mic instead of by the usb on the headphones so I do wish that cord was a little longer. Great Price.

HyperX CloudII is probably the best headphone brand I’ve ever had. It comes with a high quality mic, good speaker quality and perfectly detailed headphones.

The cloud II’s are my third headset for xbox over the years and so far they are the best headset for the price. The other headsets were from turtle beach and I can say now I would get another pair of the clouds before the turtles. My only complaint is that the headset had to be broken in for a few days to sit well with my glasses where my other headsets were fine. The problem is that the clouds resting position on purchase is closed so they are very tight to begin with. I put my over a subwoofer over the night and it was much but the next day and now have no complaints. They are comfortable, easy to use, and the sound is great i can hear everything with ease.

Well built, average sound, useless surround

The good: these feel sturdy and well built. The metal band inspires more confidence than the plastic competition. They are comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the microphone is well designed. The USB sound card works well and the cable is long. The replacement ear cups are a nice touch. The meh: the sound quality is ok. The bass is boomy, but the mids and high sound muddled. This is fine for gaming, but I wouldn't use them for music. The cable braiding feels nice, but you'll need to un-twist it pretty often. The bad: the 7.1 virtual surround is a gimmick, it doesn't provide positioning. It sounds like it just adds some echo, but I was unable to locate sounds the way I can with front/rear speakers. If you play a lot of FPS/FPP games, these headphones won't give you proper positioning information. Bottom line: if you're looking for good surround positioning, don't buy these, you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking for a well built, comfortable pair of gaming headphone with a good microphone, do get them: they are great.

Primarily bought for work from home. Great headset, very comfortable and great sound quality. Can’t speak really on the gaming/7:1 sound. For me, I like that the cord seems to be of higher quality, good controls on the wire to mute/volume control. The sound, mic quality is great and I can’t hear a lot of outside noise while wearing. I have a dog, kids, etc and coworkers say they can’t hear the background noise too much. I bought ones off Amazon for half the price that lasted less than a couple months, Highly recommend just getting these instead of a cheap Amazon version.

This is a great value of a headset, but for me it is a little tight fitting (as in the clamping action on the head is too much). The sound quality is amazing with the 7.1 activated and the ability to remove the mic is a definite plus.

I bought this for my grandson, and I must say, the headset is pretty awesome. The sound quality is great and is quite loud even when it is on a low setting. The noise cancellation is great as well. I would know because when he has them on and I try to call him, he is oblivious to what is going on. Or is that a con? Anywho, the mic is detachable, so you can use them as standard headphones and it comes with extra ear cushions which are easily interchangeable. All in all, these are some mighty fine heaphones! The only con I can think of is the fact that the wire gets very tangled/intertwined and is a pain to look at and deal with. Other than that, golden!

Excellent headphones, however long they last

After my last headset (Razor Carcharias) failed due to audio cutout, I researched extensively before settling on these, and I'm glad I did. They have excellent sound quality, flexibility, and features. I do have one a couple criticisms and concerns, however. The criticism may just be a matter of my sound settings, but I've had a couple of occasions where switching between the headphones and their USB plugin to the speakers and/or the regular audio jack did not complete, leaving me without sound, or sound only in the way that I did not want, and time wasted fiddling with settings or plug swapping to get it going again. I also would have preferred that the regular cable attached to the headset was 2 meters and the USB end was a meter, but I understand the difficulties that might have created with the sound controls. Last, I'm concerned that the attachment of the wire to the headphones is permanent rather than another plug. In my experience, that's where headphones eventually fail no matter the quality of construction. Eventually can be a long time though, so we'll see how long these last.

HyperX Cloud II Wired Gaming Headset

An excellent headset. Sadly, it had the same issue I have with all wired headsets and the wiring at the connection to the headset eventually shorts out and fails due to a focused flex point at that spot. Always but the extended protection for wired headsets. Was light and comfortable enough to wear for 12 to 16 hours without an issue. Great sound and the mic was great. No complaints other than the normal wired connection point issue. But that happens with every wired headset I get within a year so I can't hold that against this headset either. Excellent choice for the price point.

I don't know what to say that hasn't been said in most any youtube review for the headset; but for the money you'd be hard pressed to find a better headset. I will say, for those of us with larger heads it's a little tight, with the bottom of the earcups pushing up on my earlobes, but they're soft enough that I don't really notice after a while. I haven't tried the cloth earcups yet, but the leather ones are great. There's a firmware update on the hyperx website that adds in PS4 support for the USB controller, although you can use them directly on the ps4 through the gamepad also. They sound great, they feel great, willing to bet i'm not going to need the warranty I purchased, as they're very solid. A great buy, hands down.

I've had mine a little over a year now and I'm absolutely in love with it. I've had very little issues and the cable is so easy to manage. The microphone is okay. When I say okay, I mean for the price your paying and compared to other cheaper ones out there. It's better, but It's not top end, but managable and okay. The two main points I see to spending this much on a pair of headphones. For one the sound is amazing! So, clear and crisp and two you can wear this thing forever without being bothered by it and it even comes with 2 different types of ear-pads. A leather one and a cloth / vinyl like one. The usb cable is an extension so you don't have to deal with a really annoying long cable all the time.

I've had issues with previous mics not picking up my voice when I talk because I have a very quiet voice but these seem to have no issue and I can adjust the distance of the mic to help with that. They are also very comfortable and noise cancelling. They were recommended to me by two gamer friends and I too would definitely recommend. I especially like that you can use with the audio jack or usb connection that is included, my pc doesn't recognize mic and audio output in the same connection so I had to limit myself to usb connected headphones but these are capable of both.

The headset is amazing. Great sound, ease of use, comfortable. But I'm tall, so I have a larger than average head. After just a little bit of time the pressure was too much for me to handle. They ended up giving me a headache. If they were just a little wider, i would have kept these, no question! I ended up going with the Astro A40's. A bit more expensive but worth every penny and super comfortable. Value wise I would say the Kingston's are at the top of the list for a gaming headset in the mid point price range and a must to consider. Turtle beaches don't even compare to the quality of these.

I am very cautious when buying peripherals for my gaming set up. So you could understand when I was reluctant when I was looking into HyperX because it's a newer company, and the much lower price tag. However, upon using it I can genuinely say I am mistaken. The quality is by far superior to any headset I've ever owned, discord friends have said I have never sounded clearer, it's incredibly comfortable on the ears. The panel for volume adjustment/mute on the on the wire works great, however I'm not sure if I'll ever use it. It's nice to know it's there. I can't say many negative things about this at all, 9.5/10 worth every penny.

Very comfortable headphones. I have used many headphone in the past and all of the other ones hurt my head. The hyper X ones feel like a cloud on my head! These are relatively cheap for what you’re getting. Amazing sound quality also! Not a sponsored review

I spent some time looking at all the different headphones that were stocked at best buy. Sadly not all higher end earphones were available for trial. This fact made it harder to make a sound decision on which set of headphones sounded the best, as well as fit the best for comfort. I chose these headphones due to the features listed on the box. The headphones live up to the box specifications very well. I am impressed how easily they worked with my computer as well as my smartphone. The only downside is the length of cable between the USB end and the control box, where the headphone jack plugs in. But the overall quality of the sound, and the fact that only minimal outside sound comes through make these headphones a joy to listen to.

Don't be fooled by Turtle Beach Headphones, these Hyper Clouds are absolutely amazing. It comes with a set of interchangable ear muffs. The microphone is also detachable and it has a long braided chord. The chord is durable and this head set can defintely take a beating.. Sound Quality is better than some $200+ gaming headsets I've bought. Crisp detail in the sound and voice features. You can use it for music, gaming or even an online course. It's a very adaptive headset. I promise you will not regret it if you purchase it. I've had one for 3 + years and its still going strong! I just wanted a new one so I am going to give my other pair away to a friend.
