My friend has owned this headset for a few years now and works great, so I figured I would upgrade to it. I got mine about a month ago and it has not been a great experience. I have been getting constant static and there are times where they just stop working and they won't work until I restart my computer. I figured I must have gotten a defective headset so I purchased another one. This time, the static didn't happen at first. But as the days went on, it kept getting louder and more consistent to the point where I couldn't hear myself think. I tried every troubleshooting method I can find on the internet to no avail. I even tried plugging them into different devices and the static persisted. The odds of 2 headsets being defective back to back is pretty low. I want to like this product since I've seen so many good reviews from friends and on the internet in the past few years, but the quality has just fallen off and its not worth the hassle. Definitely do not recommend.

This headset is amazing but the microphone on it is not the best so if good sound quality and don’t care about the mic this should be your choice.

Crystal clear communication when playing the Game!!

Only rated four stars. While product worked just fine, it started falling apart after a year of use.

Works very well for what I need at work. I did have to purchase a two-cable splitter for the type of speaker box they use.

Some loves it. I’ve tried it too. Great sound. Really helps when playing online to hear directionally.

Nothing wrong with sound quality. The cord is horrible. It tangles so easily and since it is the cloth covered cord, it's very stiff and hard to untangle. I would have bought a different headset had I known the cord on this was so irritating.

Bought as a replacement for previous version that died after 1 year.

My college age son picked these out for gaming. Loves them.
