These are perfect for long gaming sessions, light weight and sound and microphone are on point.

I primarily use this for my PC when I'm gaming. The included sound card both extends the range of the cable and adds inline controls as well as giving the option of virtual 7.1 when desired. Lately I've been using this as a stereo headset for my Xbox One X and I have to say that it's really good in both applications. Being able to hear your surroundings with such clarity truly makes all the difference when playing games. Would highly recommend.

I have always purchased Turtle beach and they’ve always broke. First time purchasing HyperX. This feels much sturdier. Sound is excellent. I’m upset I didn’t try this set sooner! Totally worth it! A must buy!

I've probably gone through 5 or 6 headsets, which usually get worn down and break within a year, or are only compatible with either my PC or my XBOX, but this headset not only works with both, it has fantastic sound quality and the mic is very sensitive to your voice while limiting background noise. My only complaint is that there is no way to mute the mic is your using it with your xbox/playstation since the mute button is on the pc side of the attachment.

I and my wife have both owned the HyperX Cloud II Pro Wired Gaming Headset for over 4 years. My set was getting worn out (but still worked fine) so I purchased another last month. I started using them and immediately noticed the sound quality of my old set was far better than the new set. I tried them back to back several times and it seemed like the new pair had no midrange. I even tried the headset using my old audio control box and the one that came with the new headset but it didn't make a difference. Thinking I had gotten a lemon, I exchanged them for another pair but got the same results. I am so disappointed because I love the comfort and sound of my original set. It appears that HyperX is no longer a Kingston brand is now owned by HP. The only visual difference between our 4 year old sets and the new one is that the audio control box on the cord is slightly different (smaller/thinner and and feels a little cheaper). I'm not sure if HP changed the speakers that are being used in the headset or changed something in the audio control box (or both?) but it was a big mistake as they definitely don't sound as good. I used to recommend this headset to friends but can no longer do so. Pros: Super comfy, Well built and not cheap feeling. Good microphone. Cons: Sound is average at best. Not the same good sound that they used to have so take any review older than a year with a grain of salt.

I bought this headset because my Turtle Beaches were giving up on me. The minute I jumped into Discord with my friends, they automatically noticed a difference, and complimented how well I sounded. Once in game, the headset allowed me to hear every footstep and movement around me. Couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. Would recommend these to anyone who'll listen.

Pro Good sound quality Surround sound is fairly accurate for an emulated headset. Comes with 2 type of padings. cons The leather pading can make your ears to warm and has the better noise canceling shame :( Other Notes This is not for people that prefer Heavy Base type headsets. Sound is Tiny on Usb3.0 Manufacturer informed me it should be on a 2.0 and you wont have the issues. Sound from 1 ear means the audio jack to the usb link is not tightly connected.

The 7.1 surround sounds amazing and they are super comfy for all day gaming. The best for the price.
